Good acting by Sally
has sally still got beef with gary's work mate the sexiest guy maybe it is him behind the vendetta
Ken has been in Corrie long enough to know that Peter must be completely innocent if the soap police think he is guilty. When have they ever got the right person?
Nice to see a more serious side to Sally, than all the silly snobby nonsense we get. A Very good performance tonight.
Lovely mention of the wonderful Phyllis. :)
Coronation Street fans left sickened after Sally Metcalfe is sent a dead animal HEART by her vile stalker
Coronation Street fans were left sickened this evening after Sally Metcalfe was sent a dead animal heart by her vile stalker.
Over the last few weeks a sick troll has continued to torment Sally since she appeared on the radio to talk about Jenny Bradley’s new mastectomy bras.
Last month viewers were shocked when her stalker rang her up, pretending to be a doctor, and told her that her cancer was back.
In tonight’s episode the vile troll was back and started by sending her obituary into the Weatherfield Gazette, which left her in tears.
And the pranks became even more sickening during the episode as she was sent a dead animal heart in the post.
Viewers were utterly disgusted and tried to figure out who Sally’s stalker could be.
One soap fan ranted: “I hope whoever this nasty piece of work targeting Sally gets a horrible disease #Corrie.”
Another commented: “My heart breaks for Sally. #corrie.”
A third remarked: “Your not a perfetic coward Sally @itvcorrie #Corrie we love you ❤.”
I wondered what was in that box ...
I hate the fact that they have brought down Peter's character again. I hoped he had grown up slightly when he came back, and really liked the new side of him. But no, they had to make him get involved with Chloe. Why not Adam and Chloe, and let Peter be happy for a change?
Brian is annoying but so funny! :D
ms for johnny i think
I wonder if Jenny will still want to know Johnny?
Poor Sally. I thought Tim was excellent tonight. The show is so much better when the characters are not being written as imbeciles.
Tims line about Sally always knows better was brilliant, its so true of so many situations, you try and warn the naive of potential threats and they just shrug their shoulders and say things like, oh your being over dramatic. Its good writing, people like Sally dont come of the media sites, dont change their numbers dont curb their movements to secure themselves, they have this weird rational where the words on screen do hurt them and they let that keep happening but they are tottaly unable to understand that the second it translate to physical actions against them, then its time to lock the gate and call in the Police.
As for whats her face the daughter, she been written like shes had a lobotomy at the moment, which is depressing as the actual actress came across like that in the jungle. They should make her out to actually be a genius and solve the question about the meaning of life. yes I know its 42
Jenny has gone from the bog cleaner to thinking she is above everyone because she is bedding the boss. Why did Michelle rip her a new one, thats what she always did with Steve, it was out of charioteer to soak it up.
True about Rosie. They have made her so dumb. But she does have a heart which never surfaced before
Shona and Kate are friends, when did that happen and also Gail confiding in Shona?
Also why did Nick or Robert not offer Kate the job of manager or advertise when Steph refused it and left?
I am not liking Michelle and Robert together, I see no chemistry
Kevin's money problems are not David's fault
so sick of michelle, no sympathy for her, poor robert now
You would think that a newspaper office would know how to spell stationery properly!
A watchable double bill, Helen Flanagan is getting on my gonads by the episode. I should have felt sympathy for Kevin but I didn't nor Tyrone and Fiz. David, David you silly boy, Why why why did you do that, ignore Gary.
Best part of the episode Robert's legs. :)
Continuity falls by the wayside again. Clayton was Macca's half-brother 10 months ago, not his step-brother.
Hope they haven't consciously changed it because Shona obviously couldn't be Macca's mother. Clue in the term half-brother in that case.
why did shona stay around knowing her son clayton killed kylie and if she don't want anyone knowing she let phelan see her at prison visiting
As she explained to Gail, she never intended to end up there. It was where Billy took her and then she had a job (I can't imagine she'd find it that easy to get another.) Her qualifications for one have probably suffered due to being a 13 year ols single mum and Nathan must have picked her out at one stage because he thought she was an easy target.
Shona wasn't to know that Pat was going to be at the prison too. (On that note wouldn't Seb and Clayton both be in young offenders?)
another thing that annoys me as well as shona backstory now which will come out once she becomes david's girlfriend is that sarah loses money in the scam works part time but wants david to pay for the kids holiday hers included and the bull**** about tyrone and kevin hello remember molly  sorry for ranting and michelle and leanne both need a smack more so michelle for me
Why is Tracy distant to Luke and is pretending to be poorly? Is she hiding Rob Donovan, maybe in the gym as she asked Dev about it the other day .. and he needs medication? :hmm:
Must be for rob
I don't like Michelle, full stop.
This Shona story is a bit far fetched.
shona looks older than nathan i thought he liked them young to pimp out
i still don't get why she stayed on street knowing to be around kylie's kids and gemma recognising her, when she gets with david how will he explain her as the mother of their mother's killer to max and lily
She's still 6 years younger than Nathan if I recall, even though she doesn't look it. Shona is 29 and I think Nathan said he was 35.
CS has vastly improved no question, but my main problem is I don't care enough about the characters.
Also where are the ordinary mundane scenes in the soap, going to the corner shop, going to the Kabin, even going to the Rovers for a pint. (I don't mind Emmerdale being in a fantasy world (Dallas in wellies) but I do mind about CS.
Why so many scenes at that ghastly Bistro, which is so out of place in the street, who could afford to eat there? Many of the residents live in a terraced house in a rundown area called Weatherfield, most are on the minimum wage, Where do they get the money to eat there. That magic money tree at the bottom of the garden or should I say Ginnel.
How can Sally afford to live on the posh side of the street? She is a knicker Stitcher. Tim is a window cleaner? Kevin, that money isn't yours, stop flitting it away on fancy nosh you don't need. Also how is 19 grand going to help to save his business.
Hasn't Tyrone lost some weight. Also the hair transplant has done wonders, he looks a different bloke.
We need a new family on the street, put them in the Rovers, get rid of the pint pulling moron and his mother. Let the family have no connections to the area. I would love to see a Northern version of the Carters arrive in Weatherfield. That would breath new life into the soap.
Sally got most of the money Kevin won on a scratchcard (200k if I remember rightly) and Tim is also a partner in Streetcars ...
I dare say 19k will pay a lot of bills and will keep Tyrone in a job for the time being. Guess that is enough in soapland to keep a business going ...
hahahaha some woman on This Morning, who does predictions throwing asparagus onto a table has predicted Amy tried to kill Ken :rotfl:
did sally buy street cars share for tim or did he make a whole hell of a lot from his window cleaning to buy in himself
