ok i dont mean to sound dumb and this is rather embarassing but i still dont get that joke about 7 saying to 8 about a belt? can someone explain it to me please...so confused!!
it was 0 to 8.
both numbers would look like this 0 0
but one of the numbers is wearing a belt turning the 0 to an 8

lmao, don't worry. when most people tell me a joke I just sm8ile and nod while going over it again in my head. e.g:
Friend: Tell Joke.
Me: Laugh.
Friend: So you get it then.
Me: No.
Just about to update, sorry about long waits my computer mucked up, then I was ill yesterday so I'll update today and may update again because of how I've been 'blowing you all off!!'

Phil sat at his desk at work, he'd told everyone Sam's condition. Stuart wasn't talking to him, but he didn't really care. He noticed a change in CID. Without Sam it was boring. Phil was bored without her there flirting. It was the same feeling he got if she had time off.
At his lunch break he went and brought a big card and a bunch of red roses. He took them back to CID and got everyone to sign it. Even Stuart signed it, Phil scowled at his message.
'Dear Sam, get better soon and I hope your memory comes back. I'll always be here for you and love you forever. Love you lots, Stuart.'
Phil wrote his own message of : To Sam, get better soon so you can come back to work and make it less boring. :D Missing you lots and want to hear one of your random jokes again. Love a very, very bored Phil.
He took it to her after wrok, it was filled with people's messages. He went to her ward, Abi wasn't there yet.
"Hiya." Phil said. Sam looked up at him and smiled.
"Hey."
"You ok?" He asked.
"Yeah, bit bored. You?" Sam asked.
"Same actually very boring without you." Phil admitted. "Here."
He gave her the roses and card. "I got everyone to sign the card. Some messages are funny. Every one's missing you."
She smelt the roses. "Oh thank you Phil. Guess what!"
"What?" Phil asked.
"I got my memory back, it was only a bit of concussion, making things patchy. I got a grandson." She said happily.
"Does that mean you remember your Summer Party date, Stuart?" Phil asked.
"Yeah." Sam sighed.
"What's wrong?" Phil asked.
"Well he's nice but a bit boring. Not like you. You make me laugh." Sam smiled at him. Phil felt like he was on cloud nine.
"I do my best." Phil said.
Sam smiled. "I know."
"Oh, I'd better go." Phil said looking at his watch. "If I can then I'll nbe back later."
"Ok, hopefully see you then." Sam said. Phil left and Sam read her card. She read Phil's message last. She looked at the word love, did he mean it or just put it? She secretly hoped that he meant it.
