It looks like the writers want to smash the cain and moira relationship. I am guessing when emma Atkins finishes her maternity leave her character charity will have an affair with cain.

Any advances on this and the pregnancy idea mentioned elsewhere? The serious illness idea sounds the more probable given the reactions given in the recaps. And as part of a scam, it would take many players, as mentioned.

Just thought I'd pose the question again for any last ideas before the bombshell is dropped in a few hours' time.

Charity being pregnant is what her big shock is for Debbie and other Dingles I believe

Would Cain be the dad? I can't remember whether they were together like that since he has been with Moira ... :searchme:

I don't remember them sleeping together on screen unless it was when Cain had his brain aneurysm and it happened off screen

Would not make sense to make her pregnant by him without the viewers knowing it actually happened ... we would have seen them doing the dirty deed if it had happened, I am sure ..
