I was thinking that but then Emma would not have been the apparent heroine nurse she is solving all difficult medical conditions by just beeing in the same room

I did think the Church scenes and service were obvious for the lack of Edna

Is Aaron a teenager or an adult gay man? It is so weird watching Chas, Paddy, and now Gordon henpecking over Aaron like he is a child. And the writers are so stupid and I suspect they are heterosexuals because they clearly know nothing about the gay community. A gay man Aaron age living close to Leeds would have a couple of gay male friends and he certainly would NOT confide in his mommy about his problems. The writers have this bizarre fixation treating Aaron like a child and not like an adult gay man. No wonder this show has lower ratings than the other soaps.
So what is your point? People discuss the show and give their opinions and I gave mine. The show has depicted Aaron has a child not an adult gay man who can make his own decisions. The truth is it is obvious the writing staff is mostly probably all heterosexual because the way how Aaron is written they don't know adult gay men in their early 20s.

I don't think Aaron is a typical type of 'adult gay man' though he has deep rooted psychological problems and is very troubled has had abandonment issues with his parents, seemingly he only feels comfortable with a small circle of people he knows, it's not often new people enter his social circle. He's not exactly overly sociable either especially with people he doesn't know though he's better than he once was. I would like him to branch out a bit maybe get his own place but Emmerdale is about families and family units and they usually keep them together even if it's not what normally happens and a bit unnatural even, the Barton's brothers are all adult & mostly are still all together (Ross will likely be back soon after Debbie goes), same with the Sugden's they are all under one roof now it's the way the village has always been.
Eck .. woman, Val not really dead ... but I got something into my eyes when they went round Eric´s house after he had a chat with Ashley and welcomed them into his home ... hopefully the start of Eric coping with Val´s death now :)
