Adele has snatched a 20th week atop the UK album chart with her multi-million selling LP 21.
The 'Someone Like You' singer has now spent a total of 21 Sundays at pole position with her sophomore release and its predecessor 19, equalling a chart record set by Queen and Oasis. The legendary acts took eight and nine albums respectively to achieve the feat.
21 this week added to the impressive number of accolades it has already collected by becoming the first album by a British artist to spend 16 weeks atop the US chart, equalling a record set by the Titanic soundtrack in 1998.
Midweek chart-topper A Flash Flood Of Colour by Enter Shikari is forced to settle for the title of this week's highest new entry at four, slotting in behind climbing favourites + by Ed Sheeran and Mylo Xyloto from Coldplay.
Last week's number one Doo Wops & Hooligans by Bruno Mars drops down to five, while Florence + The Machine rise 13 to eight with Ceremonials and Rizzle Kicks gain another five places with Stereo Typical at nine. Jessie J completes the Top 10 after advancing two with Who You Are.
Elsewhere, the self-titled debut from Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and Kasabian's Velociraptor dip four apiece to 12 and 13 after a brief return to the top-sellers. Amy Winehouse's posthumous release Lioness: Hidden Treasures is also down five to 15.
However, the biggest loss in the top 20 belongs to The Maccabees, who crash 12 spots to 16 with Given To The Wild. Rihanna, meanwhile, slips from 15 to 19 with Talk That Talk, and Baby by Tribes is a new entry at 20.

Jessie J's 's 'Domino' has held on at the top of the UK singles chart for a second week.
The Who You Are singer's latest release beat off competition from 'Mama Do The Hump' by Rizzle Kicks and 'Titanium' from David Guetta & Sia - which rise one and five places respectively - to extend her reign for another Sunday.
Swedish House Mafia become the week's highest new entry at four with 'Antidote', while Pixie Lott bounds to eight from 14 with 'Kiss The Stars'. Taio Cruz and Coldplay round out the Top 10 after falling three together with 'Trouble Maker' and 'Paradise'.
Kelly Clarkson and the duo of Pitbull and Chris Brown both boost up the chart, their respective songs 'Stronger' and 'International Love' each rising ten to this week's 11 and 13.
Meanwhile, Labrinth and Tinie Tempah fall four to 14 with 'Earthquake', Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera team-up 'Moves Like Jagger' stumbles the same number to 16 and Rihanna is next with her Calvin Harris collaboration 'We Found Love', down six to 17.
Lana Del Rey locks up the top 20 with 'Video Games' after falling from last week's 16, denying Goyte & Kimbra a spot in the upper half of the top 40. Their track 'Somebody That I Used To Know' is up a mighty 15 places at 21.
X Factor 2010 alumni Cher Lloyd and One Direction are new entries at 26 and 28 respectively with their latest songs 'Want U Back' and 'One Thing'. Both tunes are officially scheduled for release on February 12.
Finally, 'At Last' by Etta James returns to the chart at 39 in tribute to the legendary singer, who passed away at the age of 73 on Friday (January 20) following a battle with leukaemia.
Her vocals can also be heard on Top 10 tracks 'Good Feeling' by Flo Rida and 'Levels' by Avicii, which sample her 1962 classic 'Something's Gotta Hold On Me'.

Ed Sheeran has once again returned to the top of the UK album chart with his debut record +.
The 'Lego House' singer beat chart stalwarts Mylo Xyloto by Coldplay and 21 by Adele to snatch a third week at pole position, though just 1,200 copies separate the trio. + previously reached the summit upon its release 20 weeks ago and went on to become the first UK album chart number one of 2012.
Rizzle Kicks, meanwhile, break into the top five with their own debut Stereo Typical, which rises four from last weeks nine, surpassing a new entry in the shape of Chris Isaak's 11th studio LP Beyond The Sun at six.
Jessie J surges three up the chart to seven with her February 2011 release Who You Are, as the self-titled first album from Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds climbs the same number to nine. Ceremonials by Florence + The Machine completes the Top 10 after slipping two from last week.
Elsewhere in the double digits, Foster The People and Amy Winehouse climb two apiece to 11 and 12 with respective albums Torches and Lioness: Hidden Treasures, shifting in front of Beyoncé, who is down eight to 14 with 4.
David Guetta makes a mighty leap of 22 places with his Nothing But The Beat release at 16, while Seal's eighth studio album Soul 2 - which previously peaked at 24 upon its release in November - re-enters at 17 in the wake of his separation from wife Heidi Klum.
Lamb Of God collect the second-highest entry of the week at 19 with Resolution, and last week's fourth-place finisher A Flash Flood Of Colour by Enter Shikari crashes down to 27.

Cover Drive have landed straight at the top of the UK singles chart with their sophomore single 'Twilight'.
The Bajan four-piece, whose debut track 'Lick Ya Down' peaked at nine last September, took the title after beating this week's runner-up 'Titanium' from David Guetta and Sia by a margin of 10,000 copies.
Last Sunday's champion 'Domino' by Jessie J slips down to third after a two-week reign, while 'Mama Do The Hump' by Rizzle Kicks and new entry 'Wild Ones' by Flo Rida and Sia complete the top five.
'Somebody That I Used To Know' by Gotye and Kimbra storms to seven from its previous finish of 21 and Kelly Clarkson boosts three to eight with 'Stronger', forcing Flo Rida's 'Good Feeling' down four to nine. Pitbull and Chris Brown conclude the bestsellers after trotting three to ten with 'International Love'
Further down the chart, Labrinth and Tinie Tempah shift forward three places to 11 with 'Earthquake', while Lloyd, Andre 3000 and Lil Wayne move in the opposite direction with 'Dedication To My Ex (Miss That)', landing at 12 from last week's six.
Lana Del Rey is a new entry at 14 with 'Born to Die', Avicii dips eight to 15 with 'Levels', while Taio Cruz's 'Trouble Maker' and Coldplay's 'Paradise' also drop seven each to 16 and 17.

David Guetta and Sia have broken through to the top of the UK singles chart with 'Titanium'.
The DJ's track climbed from last week's runner-up spot to finally achieve pole position, finishing a respectable 9,000 copies ahead of midweek number one 'Alone Again' by Alyssa Reid, who instead settles for the second place.
Speaking of collaborating with Sia, Guetta told the Official Charts Company: "Working with pure talent is all I crave. When Sia wrote 'Titanium' on my beat and laid the vocal it was intended to be for another singer.
"But the emotion and quality couldn't be beaten. To be number one with her is a special moment."
Third place this week goes to 'Somebody That I Used To Know' by Gotye and Kimbra, who rise from last week's seven and just a fortnight ago were flagging at 21.
Last Sunday's number one 'Twilight' by Cover Drive is shunted down to six and Rizzle Kicks also slip down the digits with 'Mama Do The Hump', which is at seven from its previous finish of four. Meanwhile, Lana Del Rey sneaks into the Top 10 at nine with 'Born To Die', up five places following the release of her chart-topping album of the same name.
Also climbing is Pixie Lott's 'Kiss The Stars', which is at 11 from last week's 19, while Flo Rida's 'Good Feeling' and 'Earthquake' by Labrinth and Tinie Tempah fall three apiece to 12 and 14 respectively.
Elsewhere, Ed Sheeran's new release 'Drunk' is up a hefty 14 entries to 15, Swedish House Mafia and Knife Party drop from six to 17 with 'Antidote' and Avicii is down four to 19 with 'Levels'.

Lana Del Rey has soared to the top of the UK album chart with her debut release Born To Die.
The 'Video Games' singer shifted over 117,000 copies of her much-anticipated LP, outselling the rest of the top five combined and making it the fastest-selling record of 2012 so far.
Te legendary Leonard Cohen finishes in second place with his 12th studio album Old Ideas, which is the 77-year-old's first release in eight years, while previous number one + by Ed Sheeran slips to third.
Coldplay's Mylo Xyloto drops three to five in its 19th week of release, as singles chart champion David Guetta scrambles seven to nine with Nothing But The Beat and Bruno Mars is down from four to ten with Doo Wops & Hooligans.
Elsewhere, Chris Isaak's Beyond The Sun manages just one week in the top five after falling six to 12 and Ceremonials by Florence + The Machine also drops out of the best-sellers, at 13 from last Sunday's ten.
However, Christina Perri zooms in the opposite direction with her debut album Lovestrong, which leaps a mighty 22 places to 15. Just behind are The Vaccines, who plummet eight to 16 with What Did You Expect From The Vaccines, and Snow Patrol's Fallen Empires, up 11 entries at 17.
Closing the upper half of the Top 40 are Drake, who is up six to 19 with Take Care, and Adele, whose 19 album climbs to 20 in its 151st week of release.

The track, which debuted on the ranking six weeks ago and previously finished at three, beat midweek number one and last Sunday's chart-topper 'Titanium' from David Guetta and Sia by just 2,000 copies.
will.i.am returns to the chart at three with his Jennifer Lopez and Mick Jagger team-up 'T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever)', which marks the Rolling Stones frontman's first appearance in the Top 10 for almost three decades.
The movers and new entries at the top of the list push last week's runner-up 'Alone Again' by Alyssa Reid down to fifth place.
'Wild Ones' from Flo Rida and Sia, 'Twilight' by Cover Drive, Rizzle Kicks song 'Mama Do The Hump' and Lana Del Rey's 'Born To Die' slip one spot each to fill out the Top 10.

Emeli Sande has landed at the top of the UK album chart with her debut record Our Version Of Events.
The 'Next To Me' singer shifted over 113,000 copies of her LP, which becomes the second fastest-selling album of 2012 so far behind outgoing number one Born To Die by Lana Del Rey, which is at two this week.
Third place goes to Adele's 21, which rises two in its 56th week on the chart after she bagged six Grammy Awards this week.
Former singles chart champion Gotye achieves the week's second-highest new entry at four with Making Mirrors, while Maverick Sabre's Lonely Are The Brave finishes at six after being ousted from the runner-up spot.
The late Whitney Houston re-enters the chart at seven with her 2000 Greatest Hits album, while The Essential Whitney Houston, released in the same year, is at 40. Fans have purchased more than 73,000 copies of her albums in total since her passing on February 11.
"The tragic death of Whitney Houston came as a shock to her friends, colleagues and music fans across the world," Martin Talbot of the Official Charts Company commented.
"Again, the British public is demonstrating its love of Whitney, just as it did for Amy Winehouse last year and Michael Jackson in 2009."
Meanwhile, Adele's Grammys success also boosts her 2008 debut album 19 a mighty 14 places up the chart to nine, as Rebecca Ferguson locks in the Top 10 after climbing six with Heaven.

DJ Fresh has achieved his second UK singles chart number one with 'Hot Right Now'.
The track, which features vocals from Rita Ora, snatched the top spot from fellow new entry 'Next To Me' by Emeli Sandé, this week's runner-up.
"This is the first drum 'n' bass number one, and for me particularly that's a massive, massive feeling of achievement," DJ Fresh - aka Daniel Stein - told the Official Charts Company. "We've all been pushing for so long to get the music taken seriously and to be seen as a platform that anything can be done on.
"Even when everybody else is like, 'Why do you listen to drum 'n' bass, it sounds like noise?', all of those hardcore fans, they're the people who knew before everybody else that it was something special."
Last week's chart-topper 'Somebody That I Used To Know' by Gotye and Kimbra slips to three this week, while 'Titanium' from David Guetta and 'Wild Ones' by Flo Rida - both featuring Sia - complete the top five.
