I think they have wasted an opportunity with
Finn. There are several facets of his character
that could have featured in interesting storylines.
He is intelligent and has qualifications.
( unlike other most Bartons & residents)
He is likeable in a quiet way-intereacted
well with Val & Victoria-Im sure he could
with others too.
He is a young gay man in small village-
who.has only recently "come out"
Very different from living in a big city.
Mentioned for short while then story
disappeared. It could have been made
more of - without being overdone.
Jimmy can be funny with Nicola.
But he and Finn together are like
Two stooges!

I see your point about the two being like the stooges but I sometimes wonder whether the actors that need to play certain parts are not so happy about doing it and it becomes evident to the viewers?
