That was a gaping hole to me. I kept expecting her to go on about Celia and she never did. To me, Celia is far scarier than Ray, and the one the family is most in danger from.

Could not log-in all day yesterday or this morning.
I still do not completely buy into Bear's situation. When he said to Dylan "my family is here" unlike the other workers Bear was not fleeing from a war zone or a place where they might have been persecuted. He knows what a "normal" comfortable life is like, so I find it hard to believe he could think his current situation is good. He has seen what happened to Anya and what Mick did to Robbie, hardly what you would call "happy family life. For me having to live in a cold drafty shed would be enough to get me wanting to move out.
When Eve saw Bear in the field, there was someone driving the van, who looked like he was an overseer or ganger, where is this person we have never seen him since, surely he would be doing the job Celia is offering to Dylan.
I would not mind if Ray goes for a haircut and Mandy goes all Sweeney Todd on him. It would serve him right.
And once Moira learns about Celia, I could see she and Cain being quite the force to be reckoned with. And even if Dylan doesn't wake up right away (I'm rooting for the little tyke), I'm hoping that they realize that Eve may have been right.
Surely after all that has now happened, there is enough people who now know about Celia and Ray, for them all to get together and demand police action and protection. With Paddy going to see Dylan in hospital will he wake up just enough to tell Paddy about seeing Bear?
The problem here, and with Soap's in general, is that in trying to pack in maximum drama, they overdo it and pack in too much. Too much, so that it becomes unbelievable. When I watch good quality, we'll written drama, I engage with it, knowing that although I am watching fiction, I believe that this something that could happen in real life. With Soap's and this story in particular I think they go just too far. I know about drug dealing and county lines, people trafficing, modern day slavery, child prostitution, but just find it hard to believe these attempts to tell the stories have any essence of truth in them. I think it would have been better if they had tackled the drug dealing and slavery as separate stories, with different criminal characters not at the same time.
After Dawn talked to Joe about her background, I expected to see scenes where she figured out what was going on with April and talked to her or even helped her by relating her own experiences. However, I suppose I expected too much. Dawn is too narcissistic and has enough of her own issues without seeing what's going on with April.
how did ray know they went to the police station

You have to admire Rodney, going Ice skating, a broken hip has seen the end of many an older person.
I would love for Moira to learn more about what Celia is doing and remember her confession about Holly and then go on full Rambo on Celia. I would bet on Moira over Celia any day. While Marlon and Rhona are leading with their mouths, I hope that Moira is the force to be reckoned with. Even Cain shakes when Moira gets that way.
The stick, known as a thumb stick does have a practical purpose, it can be used as a walking aid, even used to hold gates open. If I was a "Big Stick" in the drug and slavery world, the last thing in the world I would want to do is draw attention to myself. With Celia the hat, the boots and the stick all say "look at me", compare Celia's appearance to Moira's. The real "Big Sticks" would not be involved in the day to day running of the business, they would only be know to the next link in the chain, they certaiin would not be dealing with street level operators like April and Dylan.
go on sammy
Yes!!! The end is nigh!!! :ninja:
When Ray blocked Rhona's car, the young thug with him, pulled his scarf up to cover his face, but when they drove away his face was uncovered again. Was this drama?
No way out for April and her children.
i don't think cain is buying marlon and rays story , marlon should tell cain as moira is in business with celia
dylans robbery of moiras has anyone copped it was arranged by ray, marlon or rhona or april?
This is just getting too silly for words, nevertheless less I am going to waste a few. What exactly did Marlon tell the police when April and he went to the police station! I know April said she would not make a statement, but did she tell them anything about her involvement? I refuse to believe the police would say there is nothing they could do because of lack of evidence, especially when a child is involved. Surely that is their job to find some? Why did Marlon and Rhona not record Ray taking the money, he is not exactly a criminal mastermind? Am I miss remembering, did Marlon not buy some CCTV to spy on April at one time.
i had thought marlon gave the names to the police and considering april had got caught with drugs recently some investigation would be done even if she didn't give a statement, a detective did ask her was she being manipulated or blackmailed during her interview with bob
How can you hold a shoot without anyone knowing, the clue is in the name, Bang, Bang, Bang.
Especially when it seems obvious that you Kim is planning some sort of surprize for Lydia.
If only Gus and Rhona knew the danger Ivy would be in just a year later, I think there would have been a very different arrangement for her custody and it would be mutual.
a stupid decision by sam and lydia
April should be worried about her family more than Dylan , he got her into the mess with Ray , if she was smart she would record Ray and wear a wire and tell PC Swirling
This story has become too silly, it should have ended weeks ago. It bears no relation to real drug dealing at all. The scriptwriters need to remember "less is more" piling on more and more misery on the family is not drama, but it is not comedy either, it is just silly. There is nothing about it that grips you.
I have definitely missed something here. What is going on between Vinny, Lewis and Kammy?
why would sarah invite bob to her wedding and jacob isn't a pollard
