we saw celia give out to them to work harder so he knows she is boss and he is still there

If this is what they are trying to get across I think they are failing, unless of course I am too thick to see it. The bit where we were told Ray is keeping their wages safe. Was this one of those times when it was explained in a few words, blink and you missed it? I do not underestand the bit about "the same as any id". What is an "id" I don't think you missed anything about where the other workers came from, I don't think it was explained, whether they were new or they were always there. I also seem to have missed the bit about them being afraid of Joe, is he the "Big Boss" of the whole gang? As for Bear I really do not know what we are meant think, to me he does not seen to be confused or having a mental breakdown, but if he isn't why does he stay there, why did he not go to fetch medicine for Anya, or fetch Liam. If they had used a less physical imposing character here it would have been far more believable. Bear is too big to bullied like this.
I think they are trying to cover too much in this one story, modern slavery, prostitution and drug dealers. It is a bit much for two people, three counting Joe, to be involved in. Even a large Organized Crime Group would have a hard time keeping track of all this. They could have done a much better believable job if they had just concentrated on one aspect of it. Either drug dealing or modern slavery, but then they would not have been able to involve April and Bear.
Why are the Dingles claiming to be broke? Are they not all working?
How did Ray find Anya and the money from Caleb?
I do not think this has been made clear, it has all been a bit vague. Sse came to this country illegally to work, and sent money back home, but then found out that she was being forced into prostitution to payback her debt to the traffickers. She escaped and found her way into Caleb's van, he thought she had entered the country in the van and did not want to help her. I am not sure who she escaped from whether it from Ray and Celia or the people who brought her to this country. In fact I am not sure if it was Ray and Celia who actually brought her to this country, or if bought her from traffickers, or were lucky and just found her wandering about with the money Caleb gave her. There may be those who understand her journey but I am not one of these people.
if that was suppose to be sad and sombre it failed for me , we didn't see enough of anya and bear or sorry ted to care, celia fitting up moira
Well let's hope Moira does not visit that field until the soil has settled and the grass has regrown.
Was that the same tree that Holly was buried under? Moira's DNA may well be on the blanket but will Ray's be on the body when he moved it?
It is an unwritten, or maybe even written, law of Saops that characters and businesses alternate between being flush and skint. Especially pubs which are giving free drinks away one minute, and putting on pub quizes, Karaoke and special events to bring in the punters, and make more money, the next. For the Dingles it is simply their turn.
Are those pills that Bear is taking making him confused? But not confused enough to know that he wants to see Paddy. The way Ray is talking makes it seem that Bear does not know where the farm is located. It must be within walking distance of the village so Bear would not need his wages to get there. I would have thought that after the dog incident Celia would know that Bear is Paddy's father, so a good chance that Ray would too. Even Bear must realize they are living in a pretty uncomfortable environment and want to get back to somewhere warmer and with better food.
Celia is in a farm rented from Kim neighbouring moira
Are they all living upstairs in Celia's house?
Sam should call Noah to sort the electrics, he is a fully qualified spark with his own business.
sam could ask bestie tom for a loan or get him to get them jason donovan tickets
How unfortunate for Aaron and Robert that Kev just happened to be walking past and overheard their conversation.
Kudos to the writers for thinking up that scenario, it must be a first.
I found nothing about this episode convincing.
After last night's episode of "Carry on Samurai" let's hope that is the last we see of Kev.
Liam said Robert had lost a lot of blood, but he ended up with only a plaster on his arm, I've had worse injuries opening a can of beans. The one thing we learned was that Kev knows nothing about martial arts and certainly does not know how to use a japanese sword.
The props department must be on a limited budget if they could afford a katana, a proper samurai sword, instead having to make do with a short sword, a wakizashi, known as the companion sword, and never held two handed.
This part of the episode was definitely played for laughs.
I'll take watching kev over ray april celia
bear doesn't recognise where he is, in the village near moiras
i thought chemistry spark with joe and belle
One thing we do know is that Soap's cannot film realistic fight scenes. I suppose we were meant to think Robert was too badly injured, though he seemed fine the next day and Liam just seemed too scared. Yes he stole the sword from the pawn shop, and it is easy for a criminal to get a gun as long as they have the money to pay for it.
I don't imagine Kev really has told his probation officer he is moving, so he must be on the run.
ted bear is found
I hope that Dylan is going to mention it to Paddy or anyone in the village...hopefully this storyline is now coming to an end .. by Christmas would be nice..
Sure is developing towards the ending of this storyline now...
