My sister is in labour :D I'm so excited.
I have a nephew :D He was born about an hour ago, no name or weight yet.

Had a good couple of days. Vodka rev yesterday night, Nandoes tonight. :) Also yesterday queued up for discount Dc Martens for 2 hours but well worth it!
His unconfirmed name is Charlie James (which has upset my other sister) and he weighed almost 9lb. So much for him being a small baby like the midwife said!!!
Aw congratulations Auntie Abigail. What a lovely weight. I was told from about 5 months into my prenancy that my baby would be small and she weighed in at 8lbs. Anyway well done to your sister and big kisses to little Charlie. My niece had another scan last week she's having a girl. Skye her name will be and the little cherub is due on Great Aunt Kathleen's birthday you know. On a serious note will you be able to make it back from Nigeria to see the little lad before he goes to university :eek:Quote:

Im going sailing in a bit, for the annual easter sunday races, should be good, but the weathers looking a bit suspect, been a long time since i have been in a boat.
I am sure everyone heard of the recent events of the 15 year old boy who was stabbed to death on Good Friday by 23 and 38 year old in Tyrellstown Dublin.. that is where I live. it is 5 mins from my house. This was a racial attack. The men in question didn't like the fact that a black boy was with white girls and went home, got a kitchen knife and stabbed him.. In the area I live there are many many different races.. For example Charley (my daughter) 3 best friends are a polish girl, a black boy and an asian girl. I think it is an absolute disgrace that this happen. One of the men are not from this area and it is just hatred from him. Kids in our area all hang around together regardless of colour, religion, culture etc... This was shown in a memorial today of over 300 people who walked around the streets of Tyrellstown.. All mixed creed.. We are just shown everyone that although this was a racist attack, it hasn't stopped the people here from living and working together... thats the way it will always be here.
