just got back from our 6 week vacation in the USA yesterday.. by God British Airlines has a cu****y Buisness Class lounge( at Schipnol and O Hare )we did manage to survive TERMINAL 5 at HELLROW:p
Thats what we call them round these parts. Apart from Old Bill what do you call them.
In answer to your other question Norman. Yes I was and it was very hard although we worked hard and played hard too. Because of how things were the comradeship was better too. I have to say though that it took its toll on my health and marriage as well as totally *******ing with my mind
My dad was a cop, he was at Aberfan when I was a small child helping to dig those kids bodies out, and was still a cop during the miners strike in the '80s. It can be a really tough job, and the shifts are hellish for family life. I can remember Santa coming early for 7 years in a row because Dad was working. My brother and I would take the dog a walk, and hey presto, Father Christmas had dropped the presents off at our house early cos it was already Christmas in Australia and he knew Dad was working.
Trinity, this has brought tears to my eyes. :crying: I hope you had good Christmasses though.
