This isn't what bothers people, everyone deserves an opinion. Its the fact you gonas far as blaming Michael Parr for terror attacks because Ross promotes violence and that every award Michael Parr wins you seem to have a problem with and you always say they are dodgy. I just feel that if Rylan Hawley for example was winning awards and made the shortlist for the NTA's you wouldn't have a problem with it.

All of the current news items about Mike Parr seem to be about getting attention for him for (yet even more...) very dodgy votes for the NTA's. It really does seem to me that some so-called "Ross Barton fans" just really don't get that Ross Barton is meant to be the soap baddie and totally hated by every Emmerdale viewer. All tuned-in Emmerdale viewers are really supposed to go "Booooooo, complete waste of space and oxygen", not "Oooooooo, gawjus". I really do believe that any Ross Barton fans are doing actor Mike Parr a massive disservice and are totally disrespectful of the actor's acting ability by claiming to be his fans.

I really think that a number of Ross-obsessed posters need to rethink and come to their senses. Emmerdale scripts and storylines strongly suggest that no-one on Earth is supposed to like Ross Barton. Even Mike Parr won't talk about him in the news right now. Even biggest bad-boy lover Debbie Dingle left Ross Barton on New Year's Day, 2016! I rest my case, really. I really do wish other people would keep up. Ross Barton is so like, last summer, as the guy we all knew and loved back then died in August 2015 and doesn't seem to ever be able to come back. RIP, Ross.

We all need real heroes right now in our lives. People to respect for the real good they do for everyone else around them, not for any kind of personal gain. The biggest heroes on Earth often seem to be those who give the most as a service for others but do not get any proper recognition or reward for what they have done for everyone else.

I sort of thought this. The timing could well fit with her coming back. Although we don't know how long she will be away for. I can see him going to see her and then them coming back together. Just hope there isn't another baby involved. Either that he might just run away or something or a spell in prison. Suppose it depends on the length of break

Well I was certain that when Debbie was going to leave there would be small signs of her being pregnant (vomiting or dizziness) but nothing. I guess we'll have to see where the new producer takes the characters now.

I want Ross to get with Chrissie later on down the line so that's why I don't think he should be tied to Debbie, which is what would happen if she had his child.

To be honest, I really do not want Ross and Chrissie to get together. I like them as two seperate characters but together they're just opposites with nothing in common. Chrissie is a nice character who deserves someone who is nice. a bit more regularly than Ross.

At least with Ross and Debbie they have similar interests, they even have the same job.

That's true. Maybe Ross should be on his own for a bit then.

I never liked him and debbie together. Debbie and Pete were better match. Ross and Donna had chemistry, they were amazing together, big mistake to kill her off.

Yeah, it's a shame we haven't seen him mention Donna recently. Her death changed him.

Just heard Michael on Wish FM, he said he will be flying out to do Mount Everest in October and he will be out for 17 days so unless they film scenes a bit more in advance for Ross, I think he will be off screen in December.

The latest info is that Mike Parr is going to be part of a walking team which is just a mix of various people.

The team is not going to "do Mount Everest". Any of the team do not seem in reality, as yet for me anyway, to have the talent, experience, fitness, endurance, etc, to conquer the summit of Everest at 29,029ft (8,848m). The team are just going to trek to just beyond Everest base camp, to "Kala Pattar" , about 5,645m (about 17,000ft) and well below Everest's summit and really below "real climbing" position, so team members are really going to have a (maybe/probably externally sponsored) slog of a walk in snowland to base camp. Just put one foot in front of the other yourself and hired sherpas will carry the bulk of the personal load for every "grand guy", probably sponsored guy there on work-paid annual leave time? Blag, blag, blag!

Of course, the publicity yesterday suggested something much more. So really much more blagging, yet again. (so really what's new before NTA awards?)

So what are people now expecting from Ross? I am about 90% sure that Ross and Chrissie will get together. The chemistry is off the scale with those 2 and I would love to see Ross living up at home farm.

Loserguy, low-life thug and complete Emmerdale misfit Ross Barton gets yet another year with ITV for being a complete numpty, blagging, dislikeable, unbelievable, unrealistic and crimbo wannabe failure. Emmerdale clearly couldn't get fun and cheeky chappie Danny Dyer to sign up for a part in Emmerdale. Ross Barton has really failed on Emmerdale for the last 6 months or so. Emmerdale really needed to get rid of Ross Barton in August 2015. Had Emmerdale done so then from August 2015 then everyone would have been onto a winner. Now everyone is stuck with this completely dislikeable loser on ITV for at least a year. UK really seems to just suck right now on just about everything from government, EU membership, soaps on TV, etc, etc, etc. Can UK fall any lower? There really must be some level below which it is not possible for UK to sink below?

To me Ross just doesn't seem to fit in to the show very well any more he's a alienated character now he's either at the forefront of every story line generally in crime base madness which have become very tiresome for the majority as well as getting involved in other peoples or has disappeared completely & just goes off missing somewhere there's no middle ground with him I wonder what they can do with him now.

I blame the writers for this though, Ross needs a mate which I think he is getting in Kirin. I do think that once Ross gets over Debbie and goes back to his old fun ways people who have went off him will like him again. I also want to see more of a back story for Ross, like finding where he was and what he was doing when he ran away from his family.

So now Telly Watcher is linking a fictional character and government failure in the same rant. I really dont know whether he/she is serious.
