Nigella Lawson has revealed that she will not leave any money to her children when she dies.
The TV chef and her husband Charles Saatchi are said to have a combined fortune of £110 million and own a £7 million mansion in London's Belgravia.
Saatchi, 64, is worth at least £100 million from his modern art collection and advertising firm Saatchi & Saatchi.
However Lawson, 48, told My Weekly that she believes people do not benefit from having too much cash, saying: "I am determined that my children should have no financial security. It ruins people not having to earn money.
"I argue with my husband Charles, because he believes that you should be able to leave money to your children. I think we'll have to agree to disagree."
She has 13-year-old daughter Cosima and 11-year-old son Bruno from her marriage to late journalist John Diamond, while Saatchi has daughter Phoebe from a previous marriage.
Lawson had a privileged upbringing as the daughter of former Conservative Chancellor Nigel Lawson and late socialite Vanessa Salmon, heir to the Lyons Corner House Empire.
I think thats a bit mean :thumbsdow
Television presenter and prankster Jeremy Beadle has died aged 59.
One of ITV's most popular hosts during the 1980s, Beadle had been suffering from pneumonia and was admitted to a London hospital last week.

Updated:12:09, Thursday January 31, 2008
Britney Spears has been rushed to hospital under a massive police escort after emergency services were called to her Hollywood mansion.
Motorcade escorts Britney to hospitalLA police sources said the 26-year-old was being taken to "get help" and had been put on a "mental health evaluation hold".
Celebrity website TMZ said the emergency treatment had been arranged by Britney's psychiatrist.
The singer has reportedly not slept for five days, and her psychiatrist felt her mental stability had deteriorated rapidly.
More than a dozen motorbike cops and an ambulance swept through the front gates of Spears' hilltop Studio City home shortly before 1am LA time.
A police helicopter hovered overhead.

Eight minutes later, officers inside the home radioed to colleagues that "the package is on the way out", the LA Times said.
Spears was rushed from a side entrance of her home into an ambulance.
The vehicle was escorted by a dozen police motorcycles, two police cars and two police helicopters.
She has been taken to the UCLA Medical Center, where she is expected to remain for the next three days.
Just this week, her manager Sam Lufti admitted on US television the singer had "mental issues".
Fears for Britney's healthEarlier this month, the singer was taken to hospital after officers found her distraught and apparently under the influence of drugs.
It followed a row on January 4 with her former husband Kevin Federline over their two children.
She had refused to hand the kids back to Federline, who has custody of Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1.
Spears reportedly locked herself in a bathroom in a fit of hysterics.
Pictures of Spears in a highly distressed state being taken away in an ambulance were shown around the world.
Star was taken to hospital earlier this monthShe spent two days in hospital, and was subsequently banned from seeing her children because of her behaviour.
Sky News showbiz correspondent Steve Hargrave said: "The whole thing really has spiralled dramatically out of control over the past few weeks.
"Britney's life has been turning more and more into a freak show, with her every move paraded in front of the media.
"Seeing her crying openly on the pavement the other day really drives home the truth that beneath this global superstar is a fragile human being who desperately needs to be protected and left alone in private.
"The trouble is, she's still one of the biggest stars in the world, and wherever she goes, the paparazzi will follow."
