If there was a real fire, the smoke would be so thick that there would be no visibility. Yet we really didn't see smoke inside, while seeing lots of ash on Ruby's face after they got her out.

No camera people were injured in the filming of the barn fire or the explosion.
Probably no smoke because strangely, the bales of straw did not seem to be burning, just the ground and the structure of the barn. A great big beam, probably made of oak, which would take ages to burn through, falls still intact, soon after the fire started. Most amazing thing, was that after Cain ran in, the barn door was open, if only that had been the case when Moira was trying to get out.
did moira throw away the key after locking as thought ruby was emma, then in a daze
Moira's mind may be confused now, but it looked like the bolt had been there for a long time. I just cannot think of any circumstances where you would fit a padlock to the inside of a door, if there is no other way out, what purpose would it serve, except to create a dramatic situation when two women get locked in a burning barn.
Has something happened to Nate, he was mention so many times tonight, I feel something must have happened to him. I am pretty sure Tom is OK as Cain has been too busy to deal with him yet.
If it did, it happened off screen, because I didn't see him by the barn.
How did Will get hurt, he seemed to be at the side or the back of the barn but the force of the exlosion came out through the front? Was this just an excuse for him not handing over the money? Actually there seemed to be another smaller door on the barn just behind Will, but no one made any attempt to get in that way.
will seems to have been blown around the side of the barn with a phone that i think is nates as it focused on john seeing the phone
ruby will be keep asking about emma as she will need to know
wake up amelia and kerry, does amelia know tom stalked harassed chas?
Belle just needs to cheer up, she will feel a lot better.
Far too many Nate mentions for him not to be dead. If he was in the barn how did he get in though?
I thought it was quite a good ep, although I am not fussed about the blackmail storyline at all.
someone bloody ring nate, john seems very sure nate left
tom is hiding but amelia sees nothing wrong in that, what a stupid fool
Never mind that he doesn't want to spend time with her and tells her to go back to be his eyes and ears. Even if she hadn't heard that he was an abusive horror, it's so obvious that he's all about his ex.
I suspect that when he next strikes against Belle, Cain and the family will be tied up with Moira, leaving Belle alone to face him.
Has Tom been sleeping in the woods? Has he been taking lessons in survival from Ray Mears or Bear Grylls
Did the people who broke into Home Farm come to steal the horse, because the way Kim described it, it seems they broke into the house and took the horse after they heard her returning to the stables. Did they bring a horse box with them, or ride off across the fields on it?
Has Will still got the money, is it still in the car, was his car still at the barn, was it left there all night, I doubt the money was taken in the ambulance with him, he was not carrying anything when he came into the house.
These stories get more and more sketchy.
What's stealing Kim's horse got to do with blackmailing Will for sleeping with Rose?
The part that I found is bizarre is the assumption that the horse thieves also stole Will's watch from his night table, or wherever it was.
Even hospital ridden and covered with ash, and no makeup, Ruby is still drop dead gorgeous.
I thought I'd give a perspective as a newer viewer. The first episodes that I remember seeing were Amelia at the salon and learning who her social media poster was. I remember feeling so awful for her and thought Mandy was great how she was there for her.
Then her father came to her rescue and the horrible accident happened after he punched, but didn't intend to kill her stalker, and the police arrested him.
I remember Amelia crying, and when Britbox didn't post the Christmas episodes on Prime Video, I was annoyed but almost relieved that I didn't have to see her reaction when he was sentenced to prison and the actor left the show.
When the adults in her life didn't think she was competent to take care of Esther on her own, I thought they were awful and felt so bad for her.
Flash forward a year and I now know the characters.
Amelia is the dumbest cluck on the planet, gullible, always mingled with men who are really messed up. Kerry is obnoxious, but I now understand why she was hesitant about Amelia taking care of her daughter, and ironically, I think that she will soon see what is happening and will be a part of saving Amelia and Esther from Tom.
What a difference a year can make.
why hasn't nate rang frankie though yet
why has chas or charity not kicked out amelia
I wish we could have a hospital soap scene where someone does not shout and kick off at hospital staff, this happens more often than not. If they are not going to listen to doctors they might just as well take an aspirin, go to bed and hope for the best.
So the Doctors are planning to try and control Moiras seizures, but what about her other symptoms?
Chas should definitely turf out Amelia.
When did Kerry change her tune?
Truth!
And that final scene with Moira. Whoa!
the last we saw kerry was shouting in the pub against belle and for tom but now believes belle
i do get a kick of ruby mixing with other dingles
moira was honest with the boys even if they are young
seriously chas should kick out amelia, she has been with tom what a week abouts
caleb another child?
Amelia having no doubts, believing Tom, and calling Belle a liar, has she forgotten her experience with Lloyd and how Dan is now in prison? Or is it that the writers have forgotten that story? I doubt that someone who had an experience like that, would see things so black and white.
