If she had brought her daughters she might not have been invited in, then she would not have had an opportunity to steal the money. I did not see Max and Lily, so it seemed to be adults only. But given that she cannot afford to buy food you might think she would have taken them to feed them. But then again they did not eat anything at Tim and Sally's so do not seem to be hungry. But at least this gives Sally and Tim opportunity to go to social services.

Nothing happens in a Soap without a reason, even though it does not always make sense

This is a very poorly written story. Maria whose dislike of Lou seems purely based on jealousy, and Gary who is too stupid to see how it looks when he is constant.y getting involved with Lou. Now, Gary who recently bought the builders yard, is off to Durham. Will he run the yard from there, or will he ask Ed, who just sold it, to step up and run it for him. That is assuming there are any jobs on the go, as we have seen little evidence of that.

When Lisa said to Brody "What are these, indigestion tablets" I thought, that's exactly what they look like. Either that or a tin of mints. But the bit I found hard to believe was that anyone would use such a large tin to carry five tablets. Surely they would be supplied in blister packs.

I do wish TV would stop showing women putting fit young men in arm locks so easily, even a strong man has difficulty doing this, if the victim resists. I know that a woman who is a highly trained martial artist probably can do this, but I do not think that Lisa is that highly trained. The average police officer receives minimal training unless they take it on them selves to seek in in their own time.

Like every other story in Corrie at the moment. I really think that Monday's episode must have been written by work experience teenagers.

i didn't know bernie and debbie were friends, enjoyable scenes of that duo

At this time of year I imagine it would still be light until about 22.00 hours. I seem to remember as a child in Glasgow it was after 23.00 before it got dark in mid summer.

Yes, I thought about that, but even taking that into account (sunset in Manchester was 21.40 last night)... The drag night finished while everywhere else was still light. Both Dee-Dee and Kevin had GP/hospital appointments while the drag night was going on. How late do GPs and hospitals work with routine appointments?

Now that they seem to be flitting between stories more, I think they just forget about what time of day and night it should be. There has been a move to extend both GP and hospital appointments to catch up with backlogs. Evening and weekend appointments are now becoming common for minor operations, scans, x-rays and blood tests etc.

I am wondering how long it will be till they have the Emmerdale and Corrie combined episode, in the hope that John will perform a "life saving miracle" on Theo and leave him in a coma or kill him off.

I do not know a lot about LSD, but I do remember people taking it as a tab/micro dot, that is a very small dose on blotting paper. The amount Brody had, must have been worth thousands.

Perhaps I just assumed it was meant to be LSD because Nina said it was a hallucinogenic. I do not think GHB is a hallucinogenic, it is a depressant, often used as a date rape drug. Which did seem to fit what we saw in the episode. The more I think about it, this was a very poorly researched and executed tale. Summer, Nina and Aadi three of the more serious young characters, all decide to take a drug, not knowing what it is, or what the correct dosage should be. No I just do not see it happening. Did they use it all between the three of them? They never showed the empty bottle, but neither did we see what happened to it if there was still some left.

I think that episode was one of - if not the - worst written Corrie episodes ever. I just wonder how much they pay those work experience teenagers to come up with this nonsense.

i was hoping brian and steve took the lsd drinks and knowing corrie ended up in bed together , no one cares about joel or lauren or betsy and brody and dylan now friends with brody

I agree this episode was abysmal, but I not sure about using teenagers, surely they would have had a better idea of a party than this offering?

PCP has never been a common drug in the UK. Back in the day LSD was usually taken in very small doses usually measured out with an eye dropper. If that was so in this case, the amount Brody had would be worth a fortune. But regardless of what it was, would three otherwise sensible young people take a drug they acquired by chance from an unreliable source without knowing what it was, or how strong it was. I certainly would not, mind you saying that I have known people who would. This episode was obviously written by people who have no idea of the drug scene.

I'm an old hippie & back in the day, LSD was something I really enjoyed (but I never took any in the 80s, didn't trust what was in it). Yes, there are 'dumb kids' out there who will take anything to get high, but I'm surprised that Nina took/drank any of it.

This badly written tale was not so much about drugs but was a vehicle for Brody to find out Kit was his father.

I remember once I went to visit some friends, after I had been there for a few hours, someone emerged from a wardrobe, where he had been all the time I was there (presumably asleep). I later learned he had taken some drug made from Datura, a highly poisonous hallucinogenic plant. As you say "dumb kid", but the "Corrie Three" are not like this.
