SOAPVILLE would like to point out that CCTV doesn't have sound. Ever. So the whole Chrissie Confession Tape plot on EastEnders was ludicrous. But we were totally willing to forgive that if it meant the never-ending Dead Dirty Den storyline... um... ended.
Obviously it wasn't quite that simple, though.
The week began with everyone talking about The Tape. Grant talked to Phil and Billy about it, Peggy talked to Phil then Phil talked to Grant about it again. Thrilling stuff.
Phil menacingly whispered "orange juice" at Chrissie to psych her out before sitting down with Johnny Allen to talk about the subject of the day. Johnny said he'd give Phil the tape if he came to collect it. "Do I look like some kind of mug or something?" Phil replied. (Well, as you ask - yes, you do, you red-faced loser.)
So, despite having said he wasn't stupid enough to go to Johnny's club, the very next scene showed Phil going to Johnny's club.
Johnny made him beg for the tape a bit which enraged Grant, who was eavesdropping at the door, so he burst into the room.
Then followed an (ahem) highly-realistic fight scene where together the two Mitchell brothers slightly winded one old man. For a minute.
They then took the tape, a little girl stopped Johnny from shooting them and Grant announced, "Sam's... coming home!" before calling the police.
Proper tough guys, eh?
well yea very trueQuote:

I don't think price really matters - the whole point of all this is to give the pub back to the Mitchells were it 'belongs'. Price, and how the Mitchells will find the money, does not come into it. :rolleyes:Quote:
