Good to see they came up with a new idea that has never been used before in Eastenders. I am talking, of course, about the fact there were road works when someone wanted to get somewhere in a hurry. Those imaginative scriptwriters do come up with some novel ideas.
Not such a good episode tonight, as much as i like Hayley there were too many scenes tonight, although it was nice to see more of the EE set tonight. The highlight for me was Ian in the cab which i found amusing.
I do not mind Hayley when she is away from the other Slaters, in scenes with Keanu and Miriam but there was too much of her last night and where did she get the nightie from, Jean :p
Karen miscalling Sharon as 'Blondezilla' was a bit rich, she's no Kate Moss herself. That is, if the insult was directed at her size of course.
The thing is, Sharon really despite her moans about Phil's ways will never give him up, she seems to like acting like the would be Gangsters moll at times and I think she's too comfortable with the money Phil has. Though god knows how a tatty little garage brings in the money that Phil is constantly waving around.
Nope, but lets face it, most areas aren't short of garages. Even a wee town like the one I live in has a few places that do MOT's and servicing and theres a larger town a few miles down the road that has at least a dozen. It's a thing there's always competition in. Granted, once you find a reliable garage you stick with them, but Phil never actually seems to do much except sit at the desk, gurn, and shout. God knows who'll do the actual work now Keanu is fired.
A slightly better episode, but poorly written, it did not gel very well. Billy is a prized idiot. Jessie Wallace was probably the best thing about the episode tonight. Jean was funny drunk.
As for the Keegan storyline, I can understand what he did, but did we really need this to happen? I think Carmel is doing the right thing and leaving Walford.
