Matt chose business over love, surely if Saide really was the love of his life he wouldn't of let anything or anyone come between them? Luckily for us he did otherwise Matt would of left with Saide and that wouldn't of been good at all! I love it when he's being a B'd Matt really is at his best then. At the same time I do like seeing the rare soft and fluffy side to his character, not forgetting of course his witty/sarcy comments/digs that he chucks into conversation every now and then.
Luna love the banner. Take That... hmmmm.
PLease stay on topic :)Quote:

It's difficult for us oldies not to think about the original Terrence from the Emmerdale Farm days and the lovely clarinet theme tune DAR DAR DEE DARR, DARR DAR.... This is going back about 20 years. I remember Terrence as an Oxbridge student IIRC and had a rather posh accent. I know the original Terrence was only in it for a very brief period during Turner's early days when he was at Home Farm, but it's going to be a bit difficult to get round this new Terrence who has a broader accent and is 10 years older!
I can't stand the character of Turner, he's just so vile and bland and the way he treats Steph etc. - he seems to think he's this great father but I don't think he is; stubborn and thinking he's right all the time etc. just urgh.
As for Ivan and Paul - I felt sorry for them both tonight; Ivan's struggling to accept his feelings and everyone's opinions of him, and Paul wanting things to work out and making all that effort... bless them.
I'm actually beginning to find Kelly less annoying lol.
I still like Turner. Admittedly his best days were early on when he was running Home Farm. However he's still a good ingredient to the mix and all the better for having Steph as a daughter. Can't see him going soon though, as he's one of the few remaining links to the Emmerdale Farm era. I think Richard Thorp's the second longest serving character left after Jack Sugden.
I find Kelly even more annoying week by week. Hope the producers are using her desperation to pull any bloke as a way of writing her out the show, this time for good. :nono:
Kelly annoys me but at the same time I like her. I think that she has got better since she got her claws into Rodney, they seem to have an understanding between them.
I like Alan Turner and have known the character since he first appeared in Emmerdale but I don't remember ever seeing Terence though. I find Steph very annoying and boring. This storyline will be interesting though especially when the two come face to face...
I have a feeling that Edna will end up being house keeper for Tom up at Home Farm.
