I just laughed when I seen him in the boot, they've already done this before. Cain will be shown to be the hardman like he usually is and Ross will just accept it and move on because its Cain. Would be a very good storyline if Ross (who is known for his revenge) finally decides to get back at Cain for almost killing him on multiple occasions. Honestly, it's ridiculous.

If we don't see any sort of retaliation from Ross tonight then I'll be very disappointed.

Ross loses a fight AGAIN!
What has happened to turning Ross into the show's next hardman. He's just pathetic now.


Emmerdale spoiler: Ross is beaten up as a party goes wrong

Hour-long episode

Cougar Jools has booked The Woolpack for a party. Ross makes Debbie jealous by flirting with Jools, while Sarah overhears Faith talking about the potential for profit in selling alcohol to teenagers. She decides to go for it by selling shots in the toilets.

Later, drunk teenagers are running wild at the party, while Jools's husband Roger arrives to discover his wife in the toilets with Ross. A fight ensues between Roger and Ross, which ends with Ross being beaten up.

Meanwhile, Lawrence gatecrashes a meeting with Chrissie and Tim, but will he acknowledge that he knows Tim?

Elsewhere, Priya is keen to find out how Leyla really feels about Pete, and Leyla admits that she'd jump at the chance if Pete ever proposed. When Leyla thinks Pete has overhead her, she's worried that she might have scared him off.

Think we need to accept that Ross is no longer a hardman, he's still very cocky and he won't back down to no one but he's never going to be a Cain who wins every fight.

As you say, this is just a plot device for Ross and Debbie to get back together. Just in time for the new boy who's connected to the Dingles to arrive, probably setting up another love triangle.

Ross and his brothers are the best things about ED at the moment. Ross is just adorable and the three of them have such a great on screen presence together.
I just wish they'd get a more serious storyline for the three of them - perhaps Emma's reveal will give them something more substantial to work with.

I'd also like to see Ross give Cain a good kicking at some point. It's well overdue :lol:
