david "why didn't you keep your legs crossed till boxing day" to gail on his Christmas day birth, he is gas with the one liners
Evelyn being encouraged to study law because she fooled Steve and Alya with a fake letter......... next it will be Hope going to university to study thermodynamics because she can light a fire.
1. It's like Brexit never happened in Weatherfield. How can Gail go and live in France?
2. This story about Daisy, the car and Kit is complete and utter tripe.
Have I been watching Soaps too long, when I am wondering if Jessie is up to no good. I am finding it hard to believe that him and Gail will move to France and live happily ever after. Or will he disappear with all the money ?
where was sally
After 50 years as a cast member of Coronation Street Helen Worth deserved a very much better exit storyline, shame on Corrie scriptwriters and producers... I realise that it might have something to do with Sean Wilson suddenly not being available any longer and a hasty re-write was needed but they should have come up with something better than this clap-trap....
There might be but I am referring to this whole sorry tale, I would have given her a really nice big lottery win, she would have paid off the mortgage on the house and gone on a never to end luxry world cruise from where she could have sent postcards once in a while and maybe met somebody who lives in Australia and takes her with him to live there... no fuss with stolen money and lies and deceit..Boring maybe but nice... :D
I have to ask, is this the first time you have ever watched a Soap? Nice!?1 what are you talking, when have Soap's ever been nice? Lies, dishonesty, plotting, scheming, back biting, stealing marriage break ups, murder and any other sort of misery you can think of, that's what Soap's are about. The best Gail can hope for is that she does not get sun burn, or a dicky tummy on the Cote d'Azur.
Surely Chesney knew it was a bag of sugar he had, he didn't have to get it out and stare at it like they have a woman stare at a pregnancy test box.
Corrie is getting sillier by the episode.
Is Kit now the only detective in Weatherfield police station? As a DC, does no-one oversee what he is doing? Does no-one else read the reports that are received? Does no-one else check on his cases? Does no-one else check his progress on the cases he handles?
I am struggling to make any sense of this story. Is it the same van Chesney keeps seeing or does he just think it is. Has he bought the sugar to put in his tea, as I thought most vehicles have lockable petrol tanks? When he originally blocked the van in, was there not another space in the car park where he could have parked? Only once in my life have I ever went to a supermarket when every space was taken and that was at Christmas.
More and more important points on which stories hinge seem to be happening off screen, which means that the writers do not have to make the effort to come up with believable details. Mason's brothers say David was seen at the storage facility, but who saw him? How did that person know who he was? Is Weatherfield such a small place that everyone knows everyone else? I cannot remember how David knew about the money in the first place, so I guess that happened off screen too. He said the money was used as a deposit on the house but I thought he gave it to Jessie ?
was mason and his family always connected to harvey and damon or this just new
When did Toyah cancel her holiday?
jessie has to wait the sale proceeds from his house to come through so asked david for the money for the house in france, that's what I remembered
Yes, and I think Jessie said he would give the money from the divorce settlement to David, which would give him a legitimate, reason for having the money. So I presume David just told the Radciffe brothers he had used it for a deposit to stall them.
I cannot see how they can end this story in a believable way, if Jack P Shepherd is not leaving Corrie, and I am sure he is not. If David gives them the money he will be homeless, unless Gail does not sell the house. If somehow the brothers get arrested, Harvey will send someone else. The only way out is for David to win the lottery, but we never see him buy a ticket.
To be honest, I could not care less about this storyline... I liked Mason showing what bullies can be like at school... somehow I find his 2 brothers unbelievable, a violent dad, yes but not 2 brothers not much older than he is, surely they would have all suffered at the hand of an abusive parent... why are they bullying their brother???? please, Christmas Day solve the money problem and lets have less bullying, extortion and nasty stuff happening for a while.. please..
Platt needs to be locked up for handling stolen money
sally bouquet is funny but that's all is happening that is interesting and is gail and sally best friends having any scenes
