Three years, for killing Lucy Beale and G.B.H.on his mother. Doubt he'll even serve 12 months . So D.I Samantha Keeble now acts for the C.P.S. combined with the role of Judge and jury. No consideration to the wrongful conviction of Max and all that involves. Absolute joke, and they're all wandering around as if Bobby's been sent down for20 years . Looks as though Jane will be running up and down the ward tomorrow night.
great post Glen
Keeble got it so wrong about it being Max shes just wanted it all to end as any digging would see her as the rubbish cop she is. H|er little speech about how the Beales have already suffered so much was complete tosh, all the Beales did was make others suffer for Bobbys actions with no remorse, just living in their bubble of they were trying to protect an innocent ikkle boy. shesh
£3500 per month a relative pays to be in a home and omg do those lovely people earn their money caring brilliantly for her. Mick and crew need to wise up now, Tina of course will demand she stays with Mick then b off and live somewhere else and never be of help, she did that with Stan remember, she rolled him in and said "deal with it " then moved in with Sonja.
Sonja and family and boyfriend... yikes so weak, s/l wise and acting.

Yes that little speech by Keeble was out of character for her and a truly pathetic attempt by the DTC to let the Beales off the hook.
I can understand as Splashy says that Keeble wouldn't want the investigation into Max looked at more closely, but I don't believe for one second she wouldn't be furious at Bobby's parents for leading her and her colleagues up the garden path. The sympathy she showed was an outrageous attempt to whitewash Jane and Ian's part in covering for Bobby. And as others have pointed out, Max's wrongful conviction wasn't even mentioned! :wall:
I really feel like us viewers are being treated like fools - and this from a rare viewer who's had some sympathy for the Beales' dilemma even though I vehemently disagree with their actions.

Just had a quick look on the net for legal definition ,as follows, hope it helps.
concurrent sentence
n. when a criminal defendant is convicted of two or more crimes, a judge sentences him/her to a certain period of time for each crime. Then out of compassion, leniency, plea bargaining, or the fact that the several crimes are interrelated, the judge will rule that the sentences may all be served at the same time, with the longest period controlling.
