So he is cheating on Denise as well as being a killer
I don't think he is going to cheat on Denise, Lucas has obviously developed a mental health problem and is trying to convince the prostitutes to stop their work as he regards it as a sin now, but won't sleep with them.
So he dont fancy themQuote:
He drives to a red light district looking for prostitutes to "save" and when he spots one he fancies he entices her into his car and heads to the woods.
Not in that sense,m I don't think, maybe he wants to save the better looking onces (in his eyes) before others.
Oh right i kinda hoped Lucas would be gone soon
I guess he is going to kill a few more people, I actually quite like this storyline in my evil way :D
He might still kill her as well :p
That is true!
IT looks like Walford's evil serial killer is going to strike for the third time as he throttles a prostitute.
In these terrifying scenes, the warped priest strangles the horrified girl with his tie.
Lucas (Don Gilet) has already murdered his ex-wife Trina Johnson (Sharon Duncan Brewster) and his wife Denise's ex Owen Turner (Lee Ross) - but no one knows his dark secrets.
And in a new shocking storyline, the churchgoer entices a young prostitute into his car, tells her he'll "save" her and then drives into the woods.
When he's there he starts preaching to her that she's committing a sin by doing the job she does.
But when the fiery brunette hits out at him, Lucas flips out and attacks her.
She makes a run for his car but Lucas gets there first, takes off his tie and puts it around her throat.
But will he kill again or can she get away?
An insider said: "Lucas is always trying to do good for his family and religion but something always happens which makes him do something wrong."
The dramatic scenes air this summer.

I quite like this slow build up. Just hope they don't rush it at the end.
This is sillly he should kill Liz, Libby or someone on the square who knows instead of a stranger or kill himself which would be better
If he killed Libby it would be better
I think this is good.. it is kinda a justification for Lucas.. he killed Trina to get rid of her but put it down to drugs, killed Owen because he was on to him but put it down to drink.. if he kills outside the square, he can justify this as God's will to rid the place of bad people.. he has no justification, in god's eyes, for killing Libby or Liz for now
I agree, killing a stranger or two (:p) puts a totally different slant on things, I like it :D
If he starts killing prostitutes, he'll be soap's first "proper" serial killer, won't he? Serial killers kill strangers they've stalked rather than people they know. I'm liking where this storyline is going too.
Yeah, I like it too, although Carl in Emmerdale has done his fair share of killing but not strangers
COULD this be the Ender Denise?
The Albert Square favourite, played by Diane Parish, 40, is dragged out of a canal by police divers after killer hubby Lucas Johnson throttles her and dumps her lifeless body.
The Christian preacher (actor Don Gilet) then chucks her mobile and purse away before hurling a rock at their car window to make it look like they were attacked.
An insider said: "He snaps and throttles her. She is seen fighting him off and kicking at the windows, before going limp.
"He then puts on black leather gloves and pushes her into the canal and saunters away.
"But unbeknown to him, he was spotted and the police were called.
"They arrive and within minutes divers pull out a body."
Find out in five weeks on BBC1 if she lives.

Will they get Inspector Marsbar on the case or will they have to send in the professionals, like DS Carter?
Or, is it a case for Chief Superintendent Beth (Ruby Allen) Green?
I though he was attacking outside the square.. wonder what Denise finds about him?
OOhh, things hotting up in Easties. This looks good but as she's not leaving - I take it she lives?
Why would he attack her?Quote:
Another Albert Square regular is reportedly left fighting for their life in the coming weeks when preacher Lucas snaps again.
According to The Sun, Denise (played by Diane Parish) is left at the mercy of her husband Lucas (played by Don Gilet) when he flies into a rage, attempting to throttle her when they are out driving near the canal.
A source said: "He snaps and throttles her. She is seen fighting him off and kicking at the windows, before going limp."
He then puts on black leather gloves and pushes her into the canal and saunters away."
"But unbeknown to him, he was spotted and the police were called."
"They arrive and within minutes divers pull out a body."
It is not clear whether or not Denise will survive the attack.
Maybe she is asking too many questions about Owen and his disappearance?
I'm not sure if I believe this. Surely Don Gilet would have to leave after Lucas tries, and fails, to kill Denise. She would remember it, surely, and tell the police. I don't think there's been any reports of either of them leaving.
He might not get found out for quite a while yet, Denise might have amnesia and not remember for a while what he did to her :hmm:
In a huge EastEnders story twist, murderous preacher Lucas Johnson strangles his wife and childhood sweetheart Denise before dumping her lifeless body into a nearby canal.
During a drive out of the Square with Denise, Lucas decides to stop by what could become her watery grave. Their pleasant discussion soon becomes heated, catapulting Lucas into a viscious rage. With that, he instinctively grabs Denise's neck and begins throttling her.
Fighting and kicking at the window, Denise struggles to escape her husband's evil clutches but her body quickly becomes limp as she loses consciousness.
Grabbing for his black gloves, Lucas drags her lifeless body from the motor and dumps it into the canal. Unbeknown to him, though, a passerby has spotted the commotion and called the police
Fleeing the scene, Lucas throws Denise's mobile into the water with her, before launching a brick through the car window in a bid to make out that he and Denise were attacked.
The police promptly arrive at the location and within minutes, expert divers recover Denise's motionless body from the water - but is she dead?
Has Lucas claimed his fifth victim, having bumped off a prostitute only weeks before?
And could Diane Parish be leaving EastEnders like her screen daughters Tiana Benjamin (Chelsea) and Belinda Owusu (Libby)?
If she is suppose to be dead why is she holding the diver's hand
Lucas started killing to be with Denise so why would he kill her now?
"Has Lucas claimed his fifth victim, having bumped off a prostitute only weeks before?"
so we have Trina, Owen, the prostitute and now Denise.. who is number 5? the dog??
Tammy, maybe she asked to many questions
I suppose this story must be true, having seen the pictures. I still don't get it, though. I thought the last person Lucas would try and kill would be Denise...unless she finds out that he's killed before. Surely this will be the beginning of the end for Lucas? I doubt if the story of an unknown assailant will hold up for long.
They must be counting Sugar the dog as one of his five victims.
EastEnders bosses are to refilm some parts of Lucas Johnson's story following the recent prostitute murders in Bradford.
During next week's episodes - which were planned months ago - man of the cloth-gone-bad Lucas (Don Gilet) was to be seen visiting a local red light district and picking up a call girl named Jade.
From there, he would drive her away to a remote location and force her to pray for God's forgiveness.
After she attempts to run away, Lucas gives chase and creating a ligature with his tie - as he previously did while killing his wife's ex Owen - he would then seemingly strangle the innocent girl to death.
However, following the CPS's decision to charge 40-year-old criminology student Stephen Griffiths with the murders of three call girls, EastEnders execs have decided to drop the prostitute link from next week's episodes out of respect for the families of those affected by recent events.
A spokesperson for the BBC soap told Digital Spy: "EastEnders storylines are written many months in advance and any similarity to real-life events is coincidental."
They continued: "However, on this occasion - to ensure we do not cause distress to the families involved in the recent tragic events in Bradford - we have decided to reshoot some parts of the storyline involving Lucas Johnson."
Affected scenes are currently being reshot at the soap's home at Elstree Sudios, Borehamwood, Herts ahead of transmission on Wednesday.
Yesterday evening, Coronation Street pulled its fourth episode of Siege Week following the shooting tragedy in Cumbria, in which 12 people were shot dead by a gunman.
The story was he kills a prostitute but the girl in tonight episode does not seem to be one, just a girl out in a bar ....
police getting there within minutes mmmmm ok , but to have a police diver there all kitted up and in to save her ... doubt it.
The storyline I had read a while ago said that he takes her to the woods, he then starts his Holy Joe God will strike you down you tart if you don't change your ways. She then runs screaming and he catches her and puts his tie round her neck and chokes her.
I guess we would have seen him strangling her if it had not been for the real life murders of the prostitutes in Yorkshire because they re-filmed parts of that EE episode.
Thanks Siobhan, makes sense now, she would not be a prostitute but I guess he killed her. I thought they might have changed the storyline so that she is a protistute but lives.
