Bradley/Stacey (May contain spoilers)...

Both of them should get equal blame. They both lied and decieved people they knew and who loved them. Stacey never cheated on Bradley and Bradley's cruel dumping of her was the start of it all, but she never seemed to show much remorse when she and Max were groping in the loos, laughing when Bradley walked it.

Saying that though, I would want Max to suffer more than Stacey as he is far too cocky since Sean found out and I can't wait to see his whole life fall apart. I feel sorry for the girls. It isn't their fault their father is a slimey toad.

She's not "smitten" with Steven - she's married to Bradley remember - she cares about Steven and realises that he has problems and has given him her friendship which is really nice of her and she'll need a friend because I'm sure Bradley will probably walk out on finding out about Stax and Steven won't judge her.

Right - sorry, must have misunderstood. Well i have to dash to see EastEnders in 5 minutes but it's true that EastEnders has become more exciting since Steven came, that Aaron is a fantastic actor, that I have sympathy and empathy for Steven and can identify a little with him and that he's become one of my favourite charecters despite what he did. I'm not "smitten" with him since I'm gay but yes I definitely think he's charismatic and has made EadtEnders doubly watchable. Anyway - I don't want to get off topic. I wonder how Bradley reacts to Stacey's new friendship with Steven and i read somewhere that Lauren finds out about Stax - what do you think she'll do?

I heard that on This morning I think..Lauren watches the dvd and then decides to show it to everyone. On Christmas day....:p

It's probably revenge then as Max won't let her see Peter but would Lauren think like that? She's only 13 and would she really want to mess up her mum and dad's marriage for some silly revenge or for a fling that was over ages ago? Doesn't Stacey find it a bt weird - her husband being her boss?

Lauren is a typical teenager who does not want her father to tell her who she can see and who she can't and these days teenager start having their first relationships with the other sex, not necessarily an intimate relationship though. :)
There are lots of husbands and wives working together where one spouse is the boss. It is bound to cause problems one day though. :lol:

I actually think that hits the nail right on the head. I think Bradley will be angry with them both but at Max more than Stacey. He may eventually come to forgive Stacey I bet he'll always hate Max. Surely Bradley will see though that she fought Max off? I mean I know she responded a bit but then Tanya responded a bit to when Sean tried it on with her - and he tried it on about 5 times ast least - before pulling away.

I agree with that. Bradley has every right to be furious. Anybody else and there wouldn't be an isssue here cos he knew about "Jerry" and they wern't together but this was his dad. I can't imagine how Bradley is going to feel - being betrayed by his own dad must be terrible. I doubt the relationship with Bradley will ever be repaired whatever Max says or does as it is all on tape - his own dad trying it on with his new wife.

I think Bradley will use his position on the market to make Stacey's life hell.

I wonder - Do they just see the kiss or do they see rthe whole scene? If they saw and heard everything Stacey and max said then they might be more angry at Max than Stacey because she remained true to Bradley by pulling away and then her speech to Max afterwards makes Max more in the wrong than Stacey or do they just see the kiss? I mean - to me it looked as though Max kissed her, she responded briefly and then pulled away and that is exactly what happened with Sean and Tanya. The thing is - if they saw Max kissing her and her pushing him off and that only - well does that prove she did have an affair with him or would it just look as though Max tried it on with her and she said no? Or would Bradley put two and two togegther anyway even if he only saw the kiss and didn't hear the conversation that followed and work out Max was Stacey's married man?

I read in the Soap News that Lauren gets angry when she sees Max and Stacey talking so she puts the DVD of evidence in an envelope addressed to Bradley and leaves it for him. After talking to Sean she changes her mind and puts it in the bin but Tanya thinks it is a present for Bradley and retrieves it and ironically Maxx gives it to Bradley thus sealing his own fate - I'm confused because i thought Max and Stacey had mved on from the affair so wouldn't their conversation be strictly father/daughter conversation?

Yeah, Bradley definetely should be angry with Stacey. She's been very two faced throughout the entire thing. What with the relationship she's faked with Tanya and just lying to Bradley's face. Hope they do work it out though. They make a good couple. They have a special relationship. But I think Max has probably ruined that.

I don't think her friendship with Tanya was completely faked though. She got a bit jealous of Tanya at one point and then she found it awkward when Abi and Lauren told her about the baby. She only found out about the pregnancy half way through the affair but whast she did was still wrong because even at the point when she wanted childish revenge on Bradley she never thought what it would do to Tanya and the girls which was quite selfish.

Well - Bradley knew about the maried man "Jerry" so I suppose he knew as much of the truth as she dared to say. Bradley only finds out bercause it is an uinfortunate requirement that on EastEnders everything comes out. Otherwise there are some things better not known. I can't he;p thinking Lauren behaves selfishlty too at first because if she watches the whole scene she will realise the affair is over obviously as Stacey is married to Bradley now and also why break her half brother's heart just to get spiteful revenge on her dad and for a fling that is long over just because he has a problem with her dating Peter?

The thing is though to someone who doesn't have the insight we do, she might think the affair isn't over. If she sees them talking, even innocently, after watching that she may think it is still going on. Even though in the tape, Stacey makes it pretty clear it is over, Lauren could easily think otherwise.

Thats true - but does she have to break her big half brother's heart just because she is angry at her dad and Stacey? I mean - I can understand where Lauren's comming from and different people respond differently to different things. If it were me I'd head straight to the allotments and throw it in the fire and then bluff about having lost the DVD or else not put the affair on the DVD in the first place - but I can't help thinking that she should think about the impact this'll have on her mum and especially on Bradley.

I think it is just her age and her anger and shock gets the better of her, plus seeing Max playing the perfect husband. She probably doesn't even think about the impact on Tan and Bradley and their complete humiliation at finding out about Stax infront of Dot, Mo, Charlie, Sean, Jack etc. I think that it very selfish of her. If she was that desparate for them to be exposed she could have found a way that wasn't in front of all those people. I imagine it will hit home when she sees their reactions and Tan chucking Max out. She does seem to have a change of heart beforehand but its all too late.

Stacey did try to warn bradley but seans there to pick up the pieces for her who had bradley got? :( if i were bradley i would move far away from stacey. I read ages ago that Tanya and Bradly kiss but tanya realized that its sean she wants. Has anyone else read this? :)

I haven't read anything about that but then I don't always get all the soap mags and stuff. I hope that doesn't happen. Bradley and Tanya would be so unrealistic for both of them. If she kisses anyone it will be Sean, and Sean only.

I was just thinking about that again. Someone older than Lauren would probably see from the way they are talking that it is no longer an affair but back to father/daughter relation - there are always subtle clues - but even Lauren must know that nothing happened while Max was in Spain or while Stacey was on honeymoon.

Ok Stax reveal was spectacular though mum and I are in agreement that Lauren shouldn't have taped the affair without knowing the full story and that Tanya shouldn't have plucked the DVD out of the bin because you never know why it has been thrown away. I still think its a waste because the affair is over but unfortunately in EastEnders its a requirement that these things come out. I am glad Sean and Steven are standing by Stacey. As for Max - well he deserves what's happening to him but I still can't forget that despite betraying Bradley he is a good father so I am glad Jack is there for him and hopefully Phil will be a good mate?

Tanya didn't know it was thrown away, it looked like it fell into the bin by accident as all of lauren's other presents were on the edge of the desk near the bin

Even after been found out, Max continued to lie!!! And yes, steven jibe to Bradley was well out of order.. there was 2 of them in this affair and both Max and Stacey are at fault!! Stacey for starting it and Max for not put a stop to Stacey nonsense at the very beginning!!

I think Bradleys becoming a bit darker these days.. I suppose he can't really be blamed for it though can he?

I do think though that if Bradley didn't turn horrible and sling Stacey for Lidia it wouldn't have started, the way he treated her was bad about the baby and that, but then when they got back together and even before that either Stacey or Max should have stopped the affair. :)

As its has got pictures of Stacey crying while holding the papers! it was Bradley's revenge! instead of handing Valentine's card he handed her divorce papers instead.


I am so upset, i love to see bradley and stacey back together as an couple, but it may not happen till further down the line now

The were not divorce papers but he returned a photo of the two, a love letter she had written to him, a Valentines Card and his wedding ring. Looks like he can't forgive and forget. :( My heart went out to Stacey.

He shouldn't have let his dad ruin his relationship with Stacey. He knew about the "married man" - all but his identity and it was outside of Stacey and Bradley's relationship - he himself told Sean that she dumped the married man for him. He should have realised that she was not as much to blame as Max was and it would have been so much better if he walked with Stacey into Jack's flat and said something like "You thought me and Stacey would split up over this dad. Well you are wrong. I won't let your affair with her ruin my relationship with her" and then went somewhere else with Stacey out of respect for Tanya.

It developed into more than just an affair for Stacey, she fell in love with Max and if he had left Tanya at the time she told him so, she would not have gone back with Bradley, let alone have married him. Did she really fall for Bradley again or was it revenge again, this time on Max, that she went back to him? I can appreciate Bradley's anger about the fact it was his father that she had an affair with, I am sure he would be more forgiving if it had been some other older guy she had been with whilst they were separated. Somehow I still would like to see them get back together though :wub: :o

Yes but the married man was his dad. Not just some random married bloke. It is not something Bradley should be expected to gloss over just because he knew she was with a married man. If Stacey had a sister and Bradley had an affair with her, even if S/B were not together, you would not expect Stacey to just forgive and forget. It being his dad makes it more personnal. Also she kissed him on the wedding day. She did not stop it right away, and this was when they were now married.

I agree with that. Had Max not dumped her and legged it to Spain, she would never have gone with Bradley again. It was only really when she was dumped that she turned to Bradley again. I do believe she fell in love with Bradley again and truely wants Bradley now, but at the time she didn't.

I read recently in all about soap that stacey and claire are going to fight for bradley in the next two weeks or so as it said on the back of all about soap

This is meant to happen the day after the 4th March, stacey is still not over bradley and she will go head to head with claire in a battle for his affections as well as the love triangle coming up between her and steven and christian, that is what i have heard so far.

i'm unsticking this as it hasnt been upated since march 08!!!!!!!!!!!!
