I would like to join with everyone else in thanking all of you who voted for me (indeed to everyone who voted, whether it was for me or not as that's how democracy works). The only problem I have now is that all my future posts will have to be interesting!

Yet again and for some unknown reason I have won the much coveted "Most Opinionated Member" category. In fact I appear to have won it since its inception. To those who voted for me thanks again. (I think) .

If with my opinions I have offended any of you the I do sincerely apologise. In giving my opinions I appreciate they may not always be the same as yours but I at least try to present a reasoned argument for them. Sometimes I am correct and on occasion I have been proven wrong but such is life.

In my opinion this is a good board run by an excellent team with a load of enthusiastic members. To ALL who won awards CONGRATULATIONS and to those who didnt, remember its the taking part that counts.

In the words of the great Abraham Lincoln. "Don't believe all you read on the Internet"

I don't think you've offended anyone Alan, though we've had one or two robust discussions this year that have stuck in my memory - which is why I voted you most opinionated member. However, if I was prone to voting for myself I would be just as likely to vote for me in that category. :D

I think it would be good to announce the awards in the shoutbox next time as a lot of people do not know they are going on. I am sure people would enjoy it and take part. I nearly missed them as i only really look at how good was your day thread. I didnt even know about that until someone told me
