Im sticking with Peggy, its who I thought from the beginning so im staying with that lol
Nobody mentioned Roxy... We all suspect Janine cause Archie said he changed his will but he didn't.. so how do we know that roxy didn't see the will and think this is her way out.. she is least likely cause she is a daddy's girl but what a perfect way to get millions, a pub and security for her daughter and not be suspected???
I guess most people think about characters that are leaving the show, to explain their absence with a jail sentence or so. Unless the murderer is going to live among the other residents for a long time yet :hmm: We will know who killed Archie but the others in the storyline won't, maybe the killer will not get found out for quite a while
It's looking like it can't be Bradley if he's gonna die, because there would be no point in the other Albert Square residents and the police not finding out the identity of the killer for a while.
It sounds like the storyline and police investigation will continue after the viewers find out who killed Archie.
Perhaps it was DCI Marsden. She hates the Mitchells.

I think it will be silly if Roxy turns out to be the murderer, given that she's the only person who cared for Archie. Saying that, sillier things have happened on EE for the sake of shocking the audience - Darren being the father of Heather's child, Lauren mowing down Max to name a couple of them.

Well Roxy.. she read the will and felt it was a way out plus she was mad at Archie for all the thing he did to his family.. playing the grieving daughter is just part of the plan.
Lucy Beale - thought if she killed Archie the pub would go back to Ian
Billy Mitchel - was sure Archie changed his will to favor Janine and he gets to keep the house for himself and the kids

Just because EE hasn`t announced he`s leaving doesn`t mean that his contract is up. The writers did the same thing with Lexie Nichols/King in Emmerdale too where it was kept a secret til the day she left.
I`ve had my suspicions since Christmas Day. When Ryan first told Janine Butcher about Archies murder, he kept asking her if she had an alibi.My theory is that he was in love with Janine and was so furious that Janine and Archie were engaged that he probably went to the Vic to confront Archie and then Archies makes a nasty comment about Ryan and Janine, Ryan loses his temper and smashes the Queen Vic bust over Archie`s head.
Ryan isn`t that strong a character, nor is he an established one.I don`t know when his contract is up, so it`s purely guess work on my part.
Bradley is too obvious - so is Roxie, Ronnie and Peggy.

'The end has come for Bradley Branning.
He will fall to his death from a rooftop in Albert Square after a dramatic Police chase.
He becomes prime suspect in the murder of Archie Mitchell.
The entire Live episode revolves around Max and Jack trying to smuggle Bradley out of the Square. But the police catch up with him and he makes a run for it.
Cornered on a roof top Jack tries to talk Bradley down from the roof and tells him he knows who killed Archie. Jack promises he wont take the rap but Stacey shouts for Bradley and he loses his balance. He dies on the pavement surrounded by the residents.
The episode will end with Jack confronting the 'real' killer and promising them that he will ensure Bradley takes the blame'
Sounds plausible for Bradley's ext but still no where nearer the killer??

The only other person Jack might cover for (apart from Ronnie) is Roxy - given that she's the mother of his child.
