I read in TV Quick this week that the house is left to Martin but in the will there is some kind of clause which is to do with Ian, there are certain conditions on Martin having the house and although everyone tells Ian to leave Martin to it he decides to do what Pauline wanted. I am sure that Jay is Bert's grandson - he was first mentioned to Bert by his ex-wife, when she was talking about their daughter, as she (his ex-wife) was dying of cancer and went to stay with Bert at Pat's house. The clause in pauline will is that she left martin her half of the house on the condition he doesn't share it with sonia and ian has been out in charge of upholding paulines wishes.
