In view of previous over-hyping - the more
cynical viewer may wonder if that total includes
any farm animals!
Not that I wish any harm to the animals!

Well like everyone else I had been thinking two or three of those deaths might be Val, Rachel and Alicia since the actors are set to leave the show. And I had been trying to figure out what might bring Alicia back. But with the release of the latest spoilers now wonder if Val leaves due to her "fake death" plan instead, and Alicia is back in town for her "funeral". So Val at least may get to leave the show without being a victim of "summer of fate", but Rachel and Alicia may still be at risk. As for the others? No idea. And quite happy to be in the dark - these events are often a lot more enjoyable with the element of surprise. And Emmerdale does surprise so very well.

The teasers have always been "several" cast members leaving, which usually means more than 2 (couple) or 3 (few). Rumours are rife that the village hall explodes. But the Emmerdale FB page admin is saying "don't believe everything you read". Which is either a) true, what we are hearing isn't right or b) false, and meant to throw us off the scent as we've gotten too close to hearing correctly LOL

For there to be 7 deaths, there would also have to be multiple injuries. And that would be devastating to watch unfold. But at the same time, could mean a sudden influx of potential new characters as the village scrambles to respond and react to disaster. Regardless, it will be interesting to see how the writers have played this one out, not just for the main events, but for the eventual fallout.

In the past Emmerdale has been one of the Best soaps for keeping secrets. Im sure we will all get at least one shock.

In a similar storyline in Coronation Street, wasn't one of the deaths a taxi driver who'd never been seen on screen?

Yes Lizzy Bizzy there was.When they had the
tram crash one of the four victims was a taxi
driver who no one had ever heard of.
Fans were"outraged" because everyone had
been trying to work out who.the victims were
going to be.

Theres a lot of speculation about whose staying and who is going, and ok, I get why Rachel is one of the candidates to go, shes really become irritating. But WHY VAL? I think that she is just tooooo funny, and she makes the boring storylines more tolerable. But if Charlie Hardwick is leaving then, good luck to her where ever she may go.
