At the garage, Debbie feels unable to trust Ross any more and refuses him any work. It seems that her judgment is correct when Charity catches him trying to sell Shirley’s car. Charity has fewer scruples than her daughter and immediately sees the opportunity for blackmail. Tricking Aaron into her scheme, she soon has him and Ross locked up in the barn. Nicola and Jimmy ask Rakesh for some legal advice but he warns them that they probably have no rights over Carl. As a result, Nicola becomes even more broody – is she about to do something stupid? After being arrested and breathalysed, Laurel is informed that she is being charged with drink-driving. Things are tense at Home Farm as Robert orders Andy about – until he is overruled by Lawrence. Robert is left smarting at the humiliation while Andy wonders what lies behind Lawrence’s new friendliness. Diane and Doug’s date goes so well that Victoria catches him sneaking out the following morning. Amelia does her best to get Ruby and Ali back together – and her plan seems to have worked.
