Emmerdale's Edna Birch finally swallows her pride this evening (February 27) as she reluctantly accepts that she needs some help.
Edna (Shirley Stelfox) is eager to pretend that everything is fine after her shock collapse, but Jimmy and Rodney are reluctant to let her out of their sight.
When Jimmy (Nick Miles) suggests that Edna should move in with him and Nicola for a while, she is appalled as she still doesn't want to accept any charity. However, Edna eventually changes her mind when Jimmy points out that the move is also in Tootsie's best interests.
Arriving at the King residence, Edna makes it clear that she'll be doing her bit around the house. Jimmy is keen to welcome her with open arms, but will Nicola be so kind-hearted?

Brenda Walker's health problems become increasingly serious on Emmerdale this evening (February 28) as she zones out while driving.
The café worker is heading off to take baby Molly swimming when she suddenly experiences another funny turn, almost ploughing the vehicle into Val Pollard as it swerves out of control.
Although nobody is harmed in the incident, Val is furious with Brenda (Lesley Dunlop). Gennie is also unimpressed as she knows that Molly could have been seriously hurt.
With all attention on Molly, the fact that Brenda might be unwell seems to go unnoticed - but for how long?
