Was reading all these spoilers out to my mom earlier (that was a long phonecall lol) and noticed every character is mentioned after the murder except for Alex and Lizzie. And as Cameron doesnt even speak to Lizzie, but has been chatting to Alex recently, it makes perfect sense that its Alex.
Plus Alex is really a bit of a spare part in the show at the moment. No girly liaisons, lost his place to live, not really got any storylines has he? Which I suspect is because he's being killed off.
Also it wouldnt surprise me if Cameron does the burglary at Ednas in some kind of attempt to cover his tracks. i.e. Alex is living there now, the place Alex is living gets done over and then Alex turns up dead...almost making it look like someone was after Alex before he was killed, so it throws the scent off cameron. Does Ednas burglary take place after Cameron murders his victim?
