I think her death was meant to be a sudden shock to contrast with the tense production that was Ronnie's "death". It did feel anti-climactic, but maybe it didn't to viewers who weren't expecting it. I sometimes wish I could stop myself from coming here and analysing the soaps to death lol. :D
I agree. You wouldn't get someone fired if you truly loved them. It was always all about Max.
