Has Angel ever shown any interest in cars? Would she be able to drive? Has she ever driven a car before? If not why would she volunteer to drive? If she was driving was it because Cathy told her to. I do not understand why they would stop and change drivers. It seems unlikely they would do so, but I think it will turn out that Angel was driving.

Just because she SAYS she does not know how to drive, does not mean she did not get behind the wheel. Modern kids, who have played computer games, I believe would find it easier to learn than past generations. The hardest part of learning to drive, is clutch control and gear changing, the car was an automatic so all she had to do was put her foot on the accelerator and steer, not to difficult as there was little traffic. I think they are trying to make us think that because of Cathy's lying and bad behavior in the past, she is lying again here. If Angel had never driven before, I can't see that she would be driving fast enough to cause the damage and a fatality. I still say that Cathy was driving but it's not my decision.

I was told by a Fire and Rescue worker that one of the main causes of death in head on crashes is damage to internal organs and bleeding in the brain, cause by the jolt of the collision. If that is the case with Heath it is unlikely that Cathy and Angel would have escaped without more serious injury. Frequently the engine is pushed back into the footwell of the car, causing damage to the legs of the driver and passenger and often trapping them from being able to exit the car. The steering wheel can also be pushed back trapping and causing chest injuries to the driver. None of these things happened here, making it even more puzzling that Heath suffered such an extreme fate.Quote:
