As the meeting ended and the others had left Noah found himself watching Tamzin she was controlled, organised and highly intelligent, now he knew why he married her she had the most beautiful smile

Tamzin- so how long have you been married?
Noah- three days
Tamzin- wow
Noah- can I take for lunch?
Tamzin- won’t your wife have something to say about that
Noah- not really it’s only lunch
Tamzin- let me get my coat
Noah- I’ll wait outside
As he stepped out of the offices he dialled a number on his mobile and waited for a reply from his wife but he got none the question was would he still be going if he had spoken to Kerrie that he didn’t know

Jake made his way downstairs leaving Chrissie to rest he needed some time to get his head around it all
He saw Danny leaving the pub with Izzy and that left Katelyn alone making his way over he tapped her gently on her shoulder
Katelyn swung round to face him
Katelyn- I thought we needed to talk Danny won’t be long
Jake- she’s Danny’s are you sure
Katelyn- she’s a spitting image of him Jake I don’t need science to tell me Danny’s her dad
Jake- and what about me
Katelyn- what about you a drunken fumble Jake nothing special certainly not something I’m proud of
Jake- not exactly a high point in my life either bedding my brother’s girlfriend
Katelyn- I loved him I still do I left because I felt guilty
Jake- and you think I didn’t
Katelyn- Izzy is not yours
Jake- I know but seeing you again
Katelyn- I know
Jake- I love Chrissie
Katelyn- I can tell, time to move on Jake both of us need to start again
Tracey- Jake do you mind changing the barrel please
Jake nodded and headed into the back of the bar to change a barrel in the cellar
Katelyn took a deep breath and followed him into the cellar
Jake- like you said Katelyn we were nothing more than a quick fumble
Katelyn swallowed hard as she stepped towards him neither could help it or stop it
Their lips touched briefly and as they pulled away slightly both wondering what the other was thinking
Katelyn leant towards Jake again and the second kiss took them by surprise as their passion and torrid passion was let loose

Kerrie stood in the cold graveyard she hadn’t been here in months too many bad memories of that near fatal night, the night she nearly died replayed through her mind
She thought she’s die and that would be that but now over a year later she was facing her biggest challenge yet and even she wasn’t sure if she was prepared but she didn’t have a choice not any more
Running her fingers over the moss covered grave she realised if she didn’t move fast she’d lose him and she didn’t bare think about that
Getting up Kerrie walked away
Noah sat in the expensive restaurant with a gorgeous girl laughing in a way he hadn’t done in a long time
Tamzin- you haven’t changed
Noah- neither have you
Tamzin- did Kerrie know we were married?
Noah- she knew I was married but not who too
Tamzin- she never liked me anyway her husband tried to screw over my businesses a couple of years ago found out it was her doing
Noah- she hates pretty women
Tamzin- why she’s gorgeous
Noah- paranoia is one of many Kerrie’s qualities
His voice was laced with sarcasm
Tamzin- things not good
Noah- they never were really our whole relationship is based on rows and lies and deceit
Tamzin- a relationship has to be based on trust
Noah- I know that’s where we went wrong spent so much time in other people’s beds we don’t when the truth’s the truth and a lie’s a lie
Tamzin- so it’s not going well
Noah- understatement of the century
Tamzin reached out and touched Noah’s hand a smile playing on her lips
