So the retcon with Toyah's buried baby is all over now? What was the point?
Does anybody care Lauren is missing? Bethany gets on my wick.
Not much chance of confidentiality at Barlows Solicitors. Adam leaves Bethany, a journalist, alone in the office.
When Steve was in the Bistro huffing and puffing another character came to my mind and in part three he confirmed it. He was doing a poor imitation of Frank Doberman.
another long lost child ffs boring
Where would dear old Corrie be without coincidences?
Yesterday we had the one in a million chance of Freshco's being closed due to an electrical fault just as Bernie tries to use it as an excuse for going out.
Next we have Christopher expecting a cleaning woman from the agency just as Bernie arrives.
Then Adam has to go out just as Bethany arrives, leaving her alone in the office.
I could add the Tommy Orpington story appearing in the paper on the same day as Steve has his next date with Demi, though that is slightly more believable.
Really rolling out the Soap cliches tonight. Bernie getting drunk and abusive towards her son, him getting all jobsworth, and arresting her. Oh, how we will laugh, when the truth comes out. Daniel developing a super aggressive temper, and accused of attacking Nathan. David washing his "blood stained" clothes, I will be surprised if either of them attacked Nathan.
If Nathan's attacker is discovered then presumably s/he will go to prison for a long stretch. Do we know of anyone who is leaving Corrie soon? Perhaps it was Simon?
Had not really thought about that until you mentioned it. Could be because Bethany knew him for quite a long time before his abuse came to light, and she had always referred to him as Nathan.
Where as Saville and Harris preyed on people who were relative strangers to them.
daniel is more like a father with bethany than boyfriend
gary will lose the money for liam's private counselling
Things are just getting silly now. Why would Sarah think that Nathan would leave Weatherfield for two grand? He had already told the police he did not see who hit him. So she interferes to make things worse. Gary hit him from behind so must be pretty sure that Nathan did not see him, but offers to pay the ten grand. There is no way they could be sure Nathan would actually leave Weatherfield after he got the money, ten grand is not a lot to start life somewhere else with a new home and job. If Nathan claimed it was a Daniel, there is no evidence to back this up, and it is possible if the police took the word of a convicted sex offender, that Daniel could retrace his steps and find CCTV to prove he was somewhere else at the time of the attack. Drama - Yes - but it needs to thought out a bit better.
Incidentally, I did like it when Sally the Snob resurfaced. Makes a change to have a bit of comedy in all the dreary tosh that passes for Coronation Street these days.
the wardrobe stylist needs to brush Adam and David's hair
Are we meant to believe that there are people just roaming our streets waiting to tow away cars, whose MOT has run out nine and a half hours ago.
Bernie turning up at the police station just as Kit is being presented with a birthday cake, bet that is a coincidence you never thought you would see, Parkerman.
