Andy judges X Factor team
From The Sun - By ALISON MALONEY - November 04, 2006
ANDY ABRAHAM has slammed the X Factor judges for letting their acts down.
The former finalist believes that Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne choose the wrong song for the contestants.
"I think some of the elements of the 'X Factor' this year are not as good as last year,” said the ex binman.
"Being a themed series may not work so well and some of the songs are not working. The acts that have made it on must have good voices, but I don't think this is necessarily coming across on the show this year."
Andy, who has just released his second album Soul Man, also said the contestants were dull.
"We had so many personalities last year like Chico and Brenda. Shayne was the teen idol, and I was the soul man. There are just not as many personalities this year."
X Factor stars at war over Abba
From: The Sun - By DEREK ROBINS - November 04, 2006
THE X FACTOR’s Eton Road and The MacDonald Brothers have been at war over Abba song Fernando.
Louis Walsh decided that the MacDonalds should sing the hit in Saturday’s show, which has made Eton Road’s Anthony Hannah very angry.
An X Factor spokeswoman said: “Anthony has been singing Fernando for years and he was devastated that Louis chose that song for the MacDonalds
“Despite Anthony’s pleas, Louis wouldn’t change his mind, leaving it to the vocal coaches to calm Anthony down and get him to learn to love his song.
"Craig and Brian MacDonald are nervous as Louis has warned them that, should they fall into the bottom two, there will be no safety net for them.
"They and Louis know that until they win round Simon Cowell and Sharon Osbourne the sing-off will not help them."
Eton Road will now perform Does Your Mother Know. Ben Miller will sing SOS; Robert Allen, Take A Chance On Me; Ashley McKenzie, The Winner Takes It All; Nikittta Angus, Dancing Queen; Leona Lewis, Chiquitita; and Raymond Quinn, Waterloo.
This is going to be the best week, Leona has a great song althout I would have would have thought that Dancing Queen would be better for her, as do the MacDoanalds and Eton Road, but the rest are going to come so unstuck, and Ashley won't remember his words and will never hit the high notes.
