Why did he say she was "A chip off the old block" then?

She could be the daughter of somebody he was in prison with who did a lot of these kind of scams.

The whole tone of the conversation in the car was that she was his daughter.

Missed most of it as I got a phone call and it would have been rather rude to say call back in half an hour :lol: But they do seem very close which would suggest to me that they know each other very well.

At first when we knew dotty was in on the plan my inital thought was maybe she wanst his daughter but now I think she is, well posibly I think. Its more liekly that she is

i wouldnt always trust everything it says on wikipedia, its not always reliable as anyone can write absolutely anything on there. also the person who wrote it will only know what has been on the tv, so as we assume shes nicks thats what itll say

i do personally think shes nicks daughter though

When Dot enrolled her at the school presumably she gave the name as Dotty Cotton - wouldn't the school have told her that that isn't her real name. Also, what about her medical records?

i was thinking that as well, that the school would know her real name. dont you need a birth certificate to enroll kids at school?

in england though, you start school in reception when youre 4 or 5, in year 1 everyone is either 5 or 6

so as shes 7 she must be in year 2 or 3, im guessing year 3 as i cant remember when i started learning fractions but im pretty certain it wasnt in infant school

same. at first i had a doubt whether she was actually his daughter or not, but now im pretty certain she is. otherwise in the car i dont think she would have called dot grandma

yeah she is definitely his daughter.. just her name is not Dotty..
