I don´t get it either. To me it would have made more sense if he asked Finn to help him. But the writers seem to have forgotten about their friendship :(
Well obviuosly Finn couldn´t have pretended to get an abortion. But there are other ways he could have been involved in that storyline. It is not out of character for him, he did steel from Declan.
Also his Mama-Drama-Story doesn´t kick off until next month.
I just really miss the Robbie/Finn-interactions :)

Is Finn still working for declan?
No idea. He didn´t quit or got fired for all i know. Or it must have happened offscreen like most of the other things that are happening to him.
