Dont worry about it, at the end of the day its only a mock , and the idea is thats what you improve on. Id be a complet failure if we went on our Mock resuts.
I thought the idea was that you get 2 grades higher but I wouldn't be happy with a B.
It's the same situation as me Kim, i am in top set for English and i was getting Ds at the start of Year 10, the only reason why your getting low marks is that you've just started the English GCSE course. They will probably expect you to get a high mark at the end of the whole course when you get your results next year, the just expect you to improve to get a better mark. I've jumped up from a D to a B. It's just all about improving, i was in the same situation. :)Quote:

Thought i would bump up this thread as i am doing my GCSEs this year, anybody else in the same boat? I have got my mocks in January as soon as i come back from Christmas holidays and we get know study leave so i have to revise over Christmas!
I've got a few exams before Christmas too!
my mocks start 4th of december and have my gcse's this year but I'm not too worried cos I've already done one gcse(resistant materials) a year early and got a B so its not as scary now
Cool, well done! :) I have half a gcse in science really and i got a c in that, and i have done quite a lot of coursework which adds up as well.Quote:
