Hi Matty - that sounds right that October would be the time that the new team take over. I hope you’re right about PD leaving with Ross and Ross and Robert being in more scenes does look promising that maybe the paternity is going to be an issue. Superb performances from Emma Atkins tonight. Good story, well thought out and properly presented. A complete contrast to the Lachlan/Rebecca comedic nonsense.

- Have you ever seen such cruelty, why does Emmerdale hate its audience so much that not only has it retained this character but also continually punishes us in to believing that she is going. You need to question just why you didn't win the best soap last night.
- She should be stuck in the woods forever with her biphobic product of her sprog. But we must like her as that’s what you do desperately want. Not happening.
- Actual glad I'm out tonight and won't be watching them make Rebecca the constant victim yet again. So done with this show.
- Robert murdered Katy, Aaron murdered his lover. Lachlan kills half the village. I for one like Rebecca she hasn't killed anybody.

- Really sad tht @emmerdale is wasting Emily Head's talent by saddling her with this inane SL. Rebecca was brought in 2 break up #Robron - so they cld grow as individuals b4 fully committing 2 each other. That SL is over. Emily deserved her own SL away from #robron.
- Oh dear lord. Lachlan has tried to kill this woman FOUR TIMES this year alone. I'm just bored. Hate her or love her, tell a different story. If being fodder for Lachlan all she's good for? Wont' watch tonight, it's not worth watching her be a victim for 2 years solid.

Charity’s trial scenes were brilliant - surely anyone with any sense would be able to tell that Bails wife was lying through her teeth and the shifty looks she kept giving throughout her testimony.
I may be behind the times but I was always under the impression that a wife couldn’t testify at her husbands trial.:hmm:
Lachlan is just too silly to watch now, they’ve turned him into a type of pantomime villain, why haven’t they charged him yet, he confessed didn’t he?:confused:
Lovely to see our boys together again - the hug was great and nobody can say that was just two mates being pleased to see each other.:heart:
Robert is being OTT but he’s wrongly taking the blame for being the cause of everything which is the norm for him now. It’s not because he has any romantic feelings for PD in any way. You can see why he collapses as he won’t relax or let anyone get close to him or help.

As for Robert being bothered about Rebecca I don't think for a moment think he cares for her romantically but she is the mother of Seb and suppose she is still the sister of his ex wife and Robert is a good person.

A good episode. The Charity court trial story line had the right ending. I'm really happy about that.

For me, it's always been about Seb, not Rebecca. Not Robert wanting to find Rebecca for other reasons. He even said tonight he was ok with knowing it was just the four of them, thinking RTebecca was in another country. Now she's missing and presumed dead so I can totally understand why Robert is so intent on finding her. I have to say though I'm not ok with some fans' expectations of Aaron and how he deals with the Rebecca situation.Quote:
