It has never occured to me that the identity of Ryan's mystery customer would ever be revealed, or that they would be important. The world does exist outside of Weatherfield, so they wouId not necessarily live in the street. I have always thought that the story is that Ryan is doing it, rather than who he is doing it with.
Would Todd be willing to spend the money?
Loved the scenes in The Rovers at the end. Very sad. I wonder what the place will look like after the refurb? Jodie Prenger as Glenda fits like a glove behind the bar, I cant believe it took the powers at be so long to sign the actor up.
I must be nodding off more than I thought, as I do not remember when Mason was introduced to us. When did he come on the scene?
I was waiting for a mighty peal of thunder as the vicar declared Billy and Paul husband and husband.
I'm not usually a violent person, but I couldn't help getting the urge to punch Summer's butter-wouldn't-melt smug sanctimonious face in every time she appeared on the screen tonight. Is it just me?
david was funny
apollo long for paul looked lovely
As there's no gay marriage within the CofE, I thought a church blessing might be allowed after a civil ceremony?
I couldn't follow the point of the wayward priest conducting an undercover marriage, it wouldn't be legal as the couple were already married anyway.
Are there really 'rogue priests' doing things like this, or is it a Weatherfield special?
Now here's the thing.....Billy belongs to the Church of England, who, according to them, represent God on Earth. The church doesn't want gays married in their churches, therefore God doesn't want gays married in church. So why is Billy happy to go against the will of his god?
It's a good point Parkerman. It will always be the same.
God said no work on Sundays, so a hundred years ago shops were closed. People just push the boundaries to achieve what they want in their lives.
I see this week, "Pope Francis has suggested there could be ways to bless same-sex unions", so the catholic church could be on the move to keep up with the times and not lose income from their 'faithful'.
Oops, how cynical of me.
one wedding was enough at least on screen

I was very disappointed with the Bishop. He needs to know that Silly Billy is the laziest cleric in the whole of Christendom
Very disappointed with Young Tully.
Mason - Just what we need, another delinquent teenager.
And why would he hang around with Dylan and Liam anyway?
What an amazing coincidence that Vaughn should walk past Billy's flat for the first time ever just as he was outside with his supporters. And why should Summer, or anyone, think the bishop is being unfair? He has absolutely no choice but to suspend Billy and, in fact, eventually to sack him after such a flagrant breach of Church laws made worse by attacking the Church's whole philosophy and teaching on the radio.
Everyone on his estate think that he's a prat.
Billy is going to get paid in full but he wont have to do any work......no change there thenQuote:
