I Could Of Told You That:p HaHa I Shall Remember That From No On Never To Trust A Women That Said "I Think It Goes There":p:rotfl:
I had some kind of old but devestating news today which kind of heart broke me, its changed everything :crying: so yeh most of my day was spent listening and dealing with that.
But on a kind of up point, in our new drama show i get to fight with someone :)
Heya and thanks, its been okay talking to her about it and stuff, obviously we have been crying and stuff but its been really good in a sense we can talk about it, and then we eneded up just talking about anything but it was just good to see her and talk to her. Her mum had been ill years ago and had a few problems and was used to going in hospital but it was still a shock
It will always be a shock no matter how ill her mum had been.
The corridors well quiet here, only 3 of us who have not gone home. I have revision though so in a way it is kind of good. Well productive afternoon, watched 3 episodes of shameless on DVD. I am going to have to start proper working soon.
Thanks Pb, she is okay at the moment, but its awful for them cos at the hospital they arent sure how she died exactly or what caused the heart attacks and stuff so they have to wait until they know which means they have to wait until then so they can start planning the funeral
I'm so sorry to hear about your friend's mum dying Abbie. I'm guessing that she must have been young, not that it would have made much of a difference. I was 27 when I lost my mum and the pain doesn't get any easier. Your friend may not realise it at the moment but it will be a great comfort to her that you are there to give her support. Don't forget we are all here for you.
You know what I love christmas......But if I hear one more advert with a christmas song in it, I can quickly change my mind
been quite an uneventful week. only been in uni one day cos i had reading week for my other module. did my performance which i think went quite well and now weve been put in our new groups and i think ive been put in quite a good group so thats good. not done any work which i really should have done! also quite pleased on tuesday cos my stunt group at cheerleading were told we were the best group so we are starting to learn harder stunts which is fun
im at home this weekend cos its my little cousins bday tomorrow and yesterday we took her to see the mary poppins musical in london and she really enjoyed it
I've got a shedload of coursework and other work to do. I have an A3 poster to do on the conversion of glucose to glycogen for Tuesday which I haven't started yet. Its mainly just cutting at sticking but I have to make protein channels and loads of fiddly bits.
Going to Halfords today to see about a cd player for my car.
I don't know why but it always happens like that. I also always end up going to bed early when i could havea lie in in the moring.
REmembered to put my clocks back, had a nice lie in. Went sailing yesterday and i am feeling it now. My stomach is killing me from where i have stretched trying to reright the boat once i had capsized.
When I had Marley at Judo on Tuesday I met a friend who is a youth worker and she asked me if Marley and I would like to be in the local pantomine as they are still looking for volunteers. I used to be heavly involved with the pantomines before I had Marley I was in about 6 of them usually playing the chief baddie thick side-kick (No type-casting there :rotfl: ) I agreed as I'm a soft touch and we went down to the community centre today for the rehearsal Marley is going to be playing the part of the sargent of the Sheriffs soilders. I haven't got a part yet but will get one next week. Apart from that we made Chocolate and Banana muffins and rice crispie spider cakes.
aww, i love panto, i have done many in my time.
I have been spending money i don't have, its lethal letting me in HMV on a normal day never mind when there is a sale on. I bought City lights box set and shameless series four. Just waiting for a seminar now. Keeping myself busy.
My day was good..first lesson got cancelled so that's always good :p
My sister rang and said she's going to take me out for a birthday meal on Saturday and then she's going to take me to a shop to get the other half of my present :cheer: :D We actually get on much better since she went to Uni! :p
Didn't do much yesterday as i was home sick from college so i just chilled on the sofa - dad made me watch some crap about boot sales and selling houses and stuff which was boring but other than that it was all good
thats the joy of daytime tv, house selling car boot sales, getting rid of junk in your house, how to buy a house, antinques, the list is ending, it almost makes going to work or college fun.
I have kjust had the most boring lecture ever. Why oh Why did i pick Economics.
I've had a really bad day. Physics was a nightmare, I got stuck on a question which I thought I had to re-arrange the formula to get the distance and the charge. Turns out I didn't have to re-arrange, just cancel everything out and work out another formula for it   My teacher kept going through it with me and I still didn't understand. Everybody else had got it and they moved on and I was just sat there trying really hard not to cry. So of course I got so far behind everybody else when I finally caught up I still didn't have a clue what was happening. When I got home I cried for ages. I feel like I'm holding people back and taking up too much of the teacher's time, especially in biology. I think the teacher likes to humiliate me every lesson by asking me questions I don't know the answer to then asking everybody else to explain it to me while he sits there with a smug look on his face.
My teacher asked if I was ok at the end of the lesson and I just walked out without saying anything to him. I was just so stressed I wasn't in the mood for one of his conversations which invariably end up about what's been going on in my life in recent months.
Anyway, I'll stop moaning now. Three hour driving lesson in morning. I'm starting to think that I'm not going to pass my test in two weeks.
Birthday on Friday :) Don't feel much like celebrating at the moment.
Can you not go to the teacher at dinner time and ask for extra help. I always did that, i practically lived in Kevs office when i was doing A Level Law and Geography i spent hours after college with Bill trying to explain glaciation. It did pay off, i thought i did not have a hope of getting a D to a C it meant i needed A BB in the Exam, which i managed. Hope it starts getting better.
ARe you 18 on Friday.
Spicy if you read this, Happy 16th for Today, hope you have a good one.
I have a seminar to prepare for so i will sign off and head to the library it hink. Whats everyone getting up to for Haloween.
I have a physics coursework for tommorow. Everyone in the class has left it to the last minute..oops..:p So I'll be sitting at home working all night with all the lights off ignoring the little trick or treaters
Thanks. It means a lot to know that I'm not the only one who has trouble with A levels. Everybody else in my year seems to breeze them. Its not as if I'm thick (I don't think anyway, 6As and 3Bs at GCSE) I just have real trouble concentrating and storing info.
I do have a lot of frees that I can go see teachers. I really hate asking for help though and I always think I'm taking up their time when they have a job to to.
Yeah, I am 18 on Friday. Still not really looking forward to it, my last two birthdays were rubbish so I don't see why this one is going to be any different.
Had a greally good day! Sweet 16th haha.. Erm got loads of money (plenty more still to come hopefully), clothes, jewellery, little bits and stuff so I'm pleased..
I think I am going trick or treating around 6.. really looking forward to being a big kid, never been trick or treating before so just this once!!
Happy birthday Spicypy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
well today I had a biology test which was hard yet okay at the same time and then I went to the opticians and well I knew it already but my eyes have got worse, but my left as got even worse so one eye is slightly different, I'll have to be very careful when it comes to my contact lenses
Glad you had a good day, four of my friends have their birthdays today as well, how weird.
I was meant to be going out tonight, but i got no money and tons of work. We are having some drinks here in halls and then i am going to listen to the footy with a mate and chill in the common room.
I found my a levels really tricky but in a way it was the best thing ever as it prepared me for uni.
You know my friends mum who died, I just found out the funeral is on Friday. I am gonna go, I just need to sort it out with the college and tell my teachers, cos the time of the funeral is the only time Im normally in on a friday
Aw....yeah, it probably wont hit her yet, especially as her mind is focused/kept busy with the funeral arrangements. Im sure it will be after the funeral, when life for everyone else has returned to normal that it will hit her and thats when she will need you.
Im sure she's lucky to have a good mate like you around.
Thanks for the wishes Abbie.
Sorry to hear about your mates mum :( x
Hope you had a great birthday Spicy!
My day, quietish (at least, as quiet as it gets with 4 children  )
Hope the funeral goes alright Tomorrow Abbie, I'll be thinking of you and your friend.
I have a class test on monday which goes towards my final grade. So i'll be revising laot. I really want to do well on this. Its accountancy.
I getting a visitor on Saturday from home a mates coming up and we are going out for the day. So i'm really excited about that.
We have a new business teacher. I don't know if I've told you already but we had a teacher straight out of uni, she wasn't very good. She gave us a sheet with work on it at the start of the lesson and told us to work through it for the whole two hours and she never spoke. Anyway, she left before half term because she doesn't like teaching.
We've got a really good teacher now. I've been put in for the wrong exam resit and we only found out today when my teacher checked the entries. He went straight down to the exams officer and sorted it. Usually I'd have had to go myself or wait a week for the teacher to send an email.
Got my biology coursework back. I'd ammended the bits that my teacher had pointed out previously then on the most recent draft he's changed his mind and says what I had changed is wrong  so now I'm confused. My graphs are wrong as well, it's only taken him 8 weeks to notice  So basically, I have to redo it because he made a mistake in correcting my first draft.
She left because she doesnt like teacheing. Thats brilliant, you would think she would have realised in the degree or somewhere sooner than actual getting a job. Glad its all sorted now though.
I'm busy revising, but its not going well.
Last lesson got cancelled  So I got to go home early, getting a Chinese takeaway tonight, my birthday so I get to choose! :cheer: I'm not getting my camera for another 4 weeks though! It hasn't come out in England yet and my mums going to visit her friend so..grr still annoying :p
Good day though...think I might be getting somewhere with this guy I know..have to wait to see how this turns out! So bad at reading signals  :p
Happy birthday!!!!!
Just got back from the funeral and the Wake, it was the saddest thing ever, I started crying when they brough the coffin in and didnt stop throughout the whole thing
I'm very sorry to hear about your friend's mum Abbie, but i'm sure you did a wonderful job being there for your friend at the funeral today.
Happy birthday StarsofCCTV, Amber and Jelly Belly! Hope your all having good birthdays. Hope you had a good birthday too Spicy.
I got back from holiday today - had quite a good time. We went to Butlins in Minehead. Me, my mum and dad and my little sister went with my auntie and uncle, my two cousins and two 2nd cousins. It was ok, but i realised i am pretty crap at making new friends. I went to this teenage club thing in an effort to make new friends but left within the 1st 10 minutes, because i didn't like it too much and my family were encouraging me to try and make new mates as well... there were a few arguments within the family as well but luckily they were resolved. I went go karting though (Came 2nd!) and played snooker with my other cousin - and even ended up winning 1 game so was pretty chuffed! I was also addicted to this Bingo Arcade machine and won a few quid on that!
