Slightly better than the burning maze of "Boot Camp Survival Week"
How did Nate survive being trampled when he fell in front of herd of stampeding cows. Very considerate cows that managed not to step on him, in that confined space. Why on earth did Sam and Nate not shelter behind the tractor handily parked next to them, instead of running down a track enclosed by a fence on each side.
Weren't they both stood with belle when the gate opened though, and she managed to stay out of the way. I think Nate landed near the fence so not right in the middle of them. Surprised he wasn't more battered though. More surprising is now Sam managed to jump on / over those bales when they're massive and slippery as heck.
where was cain matty and moira from the farm?
Amelia called out to God to help her. I note that God sent Lydia and not the Bogus Vicar.
Is Kerry slightly suspicious of Chas and Al or is she too dim to be suspicious?
So on one of the worst storms going on in the country numerous people leave safe homes to go and look for others... ffs, just how stupid do the producers/scriptwriters think viewers are?? Of course, it provides them with the chance to kill a character or two off...
caravan squash end for liv, chas fault as no one sober to watch eve
When I was almost a teenager, and my my mom was struggling as a single parent with a useless POS ex-husband/my father, we holidayed at a relative's cottage in Bewdley. Bearing in mind we were Brummies with little knowledge of the countryside, we were caught up in a cattle stampede. Absolutely terrifying, think me, mom and sister only survived because we kind of threw ourselves into the hedge. Two of us twisted our ankles in the process, but it was obviously a small price to pay.
You see a caravan moving towards you but instead of running in an opposite direction you run in the same direction as the caravan .
They knew the storm was coming but nobody bothered to move all that stuff inside the shop.
It amused me that every time someone walked in the village, we saw something previously stationary blow over.
Couldn't Sam just be lifted off ?
Kim should get an anullment...pronto.
nate and belle were too calm around spiked sam, if it were my brother id be screaming, a complete mess

The spike is the only thing stopping him bleeding out as you don't know what the damage is inside. It can't be removed until he's in surgery and ready to be closed up. I've watched too many medical things lol
Sam and Nate were facing the barn when the cows came out. The tractor was a little in front of them and a few paces to their right. All they had to do was move to their right and they were safe. Belle had move across the sceen and disappeared not sure where she went. When Nate fell he was still on the hard packed part of the track in front of the cows, maybe he managed to roll onto the grass verge, where he was when Belle ran up. But I doubt he had time to do so as the cows were very close, even if he did some of the cows were on the grass, so he should still have been trampled.
Nate's wrist did not seem to stop him using the angle grinder to cut the spike.
There are quite a few I wish they would kill off, Will for a start, followed by the vicar and his whole family.
What is point of going out in a storm to look for someone when you have no idea where they are. While you are wandering about aimlessly they may well come home, then feel they have to go out again and look for you. - A perpetual cycle of searchers and those being searched for. (Was going to say searchers and searchees, but not sure if it is a word)
I laughed at the car blowing over, modern cars have a aerodynamic shape to allow air to slide over them, but the Dingle van with it's flat sides and added height seemed to survive the storm.
I was expecting to see the cows blown into the trees.
ethan's hat stayed on despite "the storm wind"
not a scratch on vinny, all chas fault
wendy running a&e with failed qualifications
Yes, I was watching his hat, fascinated, waiting for it to blow off, and him running down the street chasing it. Then we were robbed of this laugh, when they saw sense and went back indoors. Were they the only ones who were sensible enough not to go out in the storm?
ITV have spent a lot of money on Emmerdale this week, and it has been must see TV, not all for the right reasons. Remember the cow stampede?
If I am being picky, too much going on, a little like Corrie's Sink hole week.
Emmerdale seemed this week like let's have a stunt and then another and another without any real thought. Liv's death should have been moving and it wasn't. If I had been producer, I would have made Faith's exit centre stage of the 50th anniversary.
I have just watched the last bit of Tuesday's episode again to see why Liv and Vinny were wandering about in the village. It would appears that The Yorkshire vet couldn't be @rsed to look after his own child
Surely there was someone sober enough to keep an eye on her for him. Diane and Victoria weren't pished.
And surely they could have done Liv's death better than stuck between a caravan and a wall with a dodgy camera angle for her last scenes with Vinny. I had to laugh at the paramedics just casually packing up their stuff and looking like they were getting ready to leave while she's still sat there dying.
Also Sam did pretty well to walk.and talk while still skewered.
Edit - did anyone else notice how quick that wind died down in this episode considering it was supposedly immediately after the caravan had just been blown about.
I liked the last moments Vinny had with Liv, I wish Isobella all the best for her future career.
I find it difficult to believe the emergency services would just stand there waiting for Liv to die. Fire fighters normally have cutting gear with them. I have seen demonstrations where fire fighters have cut people out ot cars. Caravans being more flimsy than the average car, I am sure they could have got her free in minutes. Even if she subsequently died at least they would have done everything to give her a chance of surviving.
Bet Sam is glad Nate was there to cut him free, if the emergency services had been called out, he would still probably be impaled on that spike, while they called his nearest and dearest to say goodbye.
Yes they were there, just standing about doing little, remarkably untouch by the situation. One of them looked in the upturned car. I think the woman that Paddy spoke to was their leading officer. She said that the caravan had pinned Liv down, crushed her lower body, and it was the only thing keeping her alive. I am not sure how they knew this, as it must have been difficult to see Life's injuries beneath the caravan. The whole scene was engineered to give Aaron and Vinny the opportunity to say goodbye. But I am sure in real life they would have tried to free her.
Exactly, it was still on it's wheels so there was a gap underneath it or else Vinny would have been crushed too. Plus, when Aaron was with her and the camera was from Liv's side you could see daylight underneath the caravan and out the otherside where he was crouched.
