Really shockingly poor continuity there im afraid. Nobody can defend this awful writing. It doesn't make sense at all.
Are we supposed to think because Rebecca told Aaron where Liv was that all is forgiven?

Robert's money seems to have vanished again as no mention of it, it's all about Aaron and Liv buying the Mill, way to leave out the guy with the half a million.
He spent 40k on the haulage business. He got 500k. 500 - 40 = 440k which Robert should still have. He also go some from his actual divorce too which he was happy enough about so must've been 100k at least.
Also if he's meant to have spent 400k on the haulage firm then he could get a mortgage based on that and he'd have a 100k deposit too.....
If he's invested so much we should have been told, I just feel that we're being insulted more and more since IM took over. KO had her problems but her stories made sense and the characters were consistent. I think IM is a dud already but will escape too much criticism because of SSW.
Notice tonight she wanted events planning advice probably why she's helping to do with Aaron's birthday.
Personally I think she's still up to something just more subtle like trying to make Aaron seem unstable to put Robert off so she can pick up the leftovers, she will fail though.
Hiya, I do worry that Aaron will have handed Rebecca some ammunition to use against him if & when she feels like it with tomorrow's robbery. She's the extra wheel that Aaron would like to get a flat elsewhere & not be near them, while Rob thinks she's no threat & is a misunderstood lovely girl from his past friendship with her.
Maxine said on twitter her next Robron eps are 21st and 23rd feb....Some of us guessed 23rd as a wedding date and surely it fits with her writing 2 eps in the same week.
I may be wrong but I think she already knew about Aaron's past - Chrissie has possibly told her and this is all part of the Sisterly plan!!
TBH I'm not even sure how much money Liv is supposed to have since Aaron did not want his share. In law she should have his share too since he rejected it but Emmerdale have never cleared that up. I always thought Robert nearly spent the whole lot on the Haulage Business, Emmerdale obviously haven't gone into how much money he actually has right now & that he might be able to get a mortgage. :)
Just caught up with tonite's ep. Until Bex said that, Aaron seemed ok with her being around chatting to Robert. I think Robert's genuinely just being friendly and helping her. She clearly has other motives by the way she looked Aaron in the mirror and I just wonder if she actually somehow knew what she was saying. The thing is, if Aaron had said to Robert that didn't want him around her and he still did then that would be bad but Aaron obvs hasn't and even after the Moira jibe he may just let it build up without saying anything. On the other hand it could mean it comes to ahead and they have another big convo.
Sorry to be ot for a sec but my friend just said to me she thought laurel would end up having a fling with the carer and I assumed he was gay but he does seem to be set up for doing something with someone
I think Robert is clueless, the fact that he doesn't explain fully what they were talking about doesn't help.
I think Bex didn't know about Gordon's money, that was only Chas, Charity, Robert and Liz (Aaron of course as well), and I don't think circumstances have happened where it would be shared.
Rob had £500k from the business/divorce, spend £40k on the haulage firm so should have around £460k minimum left we haven't been told he has spent any other significant sum. I am sure Aaron/Liv mean't house for them all.
I am suspicious of the glances of Aaron in the make-up mirror, it just seemed a little sneaky and as if she was up to something.
I am sure all will be revealed but you can see how Aaron will become paranoid about her and Robert, oh have I mentioned I think Robert is clueless, that or the writers have forgotten what happened between Bex/Robert/Aaron where she tried to split them up.
Oh yeah Robert is definitely being written as naïve for the purpose of this plot. Whether it's so he can be taken in by Rebecca and fooled or whether he's just being like this to fuel Aaron's paranoia and insecurities we don't know yet.
I should add I deducted 20k for the stuff Robert has bought like engagement rings and stuff which I why I said 440k thought I should make that clear.
Good point, most of us expected them not to even really be speaking. Rob seems to have swept it under the carpet even though apart from publically revealing the kiss, Rebecca also tried to blackmail him & he still has this notion that she's a lovely girl. Having said that, I still enjoyed the ep & really liked the Liv/Aaron scenes today!! :)

Yeah the Mill was originally £330,000 when Jimmy sold it, I think. It'll probably only sell for £200-250k now, but the build costs could be that amount again, so half a million. It will pay off in the end if they sell two flats on.
Plus maybe they can't get a mortgage due to fire damage and dry rot. Some auction properties are auctioned for the reason of attracting cash buyers
Just looked - dereliction and extensive dry rot would make a mortgage unlikely
They are in North Yorkshire, The Mill, in that state, would sell for around £495-595k if in a good state, depending on who is at the auction it may reach around this level but renovations would be extensive and expensive. Aaron and Liv, were they offered £250k each from Gordon's estate? even if its £250k between them all of that would be a significantly large deposit, if Rob matched they could buy the property and mortgage for the renovations, with such a big deposit and both Robron are working most banks would loan without any issues. Actually most banks would loan even if they put just 50% in.
EDIT, just seen Tink02 note, I had forgotten what Jimmy sold it for so amend my notes accordingly and they would have NO ISSUE affording it together.
