Michelle McManus has described the current series of X Factor as "awful".

McManus, who won the second series of Pop Idol in 2003, claimed that producers have ruined the show by promoting contestants' "sob stories" and staging arguments between the four judges.

"I watched every episode of X Factor last year and voted for Leona Lewis, who I thought was unbelievable. I've even bought her single because she is fantastic," Michelle told the Daily Record.

"But I can't watch it this year. Everyone has a sob story and everything is staged between the judges. It is so affected to the point I don't believe a word that is coming out of anyone's mouth. X Factor is a caricature of itself and just awful."

To be honest I have to agree, about everyone having a sob story, this year. It should be about the talent and who has the X factor.....

Same here, only talent should count, not what goes on in the private lives.

"That was a seriously big compliment," Raquelle explained. "We were all shocked. We just want to live up to that now and show Simon that he did the right thing saying that. It's overwhelming."

Well thats good then, cos I do actually like these, so it will bice to see them in clothes lol

I must be the only one who can't stand HOPE, :sick: I am sorry but they did not perform well last week nor this week, even though they wore more clothes tonight. How can you judge a group when they admit they need to wear more clothes to be taking serious?:wall: Sorry to upset a lot of people but I hope you respect my comments even if you disagree.

Nah I can't stand them either :D Them as people and they can't sing that well anyway :s

Yeah she was reallyyyyy good. One of the best!

Rhydian and Niki still the best in my opinion.
