Perhaps reality has finally reached Weatherfield.

Paul is really annoying me. Is he going to spend his last few months in The Chokey ?
Is George going to be asked to finance Glenda's project ?
When will the scaffolding outside the Barlow's house disappear? Is the roof still not fixed? Is nobody missing the scaffolding that could be used elsewhere?
I guessed the reference you were making, but had never heard it used before.
I googled it and found these two definitions:
1. The Chokey is a torture device featured in the book and Roald Dahl film versions of Matilda. Closely resembling an iron maiden, the Chokey is designed to be narrow that no one can sit or squat while in it. Its measurement is said to be 10 inches and is filled with broken glass sticking out in the walls with nails on the door.
2. A somewhat dated British slang word to describe a prison.
I take it you're not a teenager then Dennis, using that 'dated' expression - ha ha!
Even for a theatre lovie like me Ruthie Henshall and Jodie Prenger together was too much.
is stephen going to insure fiancee elaine then bump her off after the wedding
did amy go order and pay with alya as we only saw her enter and leave again as aaron there
Well it did not take long for Evelyn to get a new puppy.
idiot horny sarah who will end up preggers
Sarah is a trollop.
I noticed Billy said to Paul: 'They're refurbishing the organ this afternoon. Wanna come with me?'
I'm probably being pedantic here, and it was used as a throwaway line. However, Billy didn't say 'starting on refurbishing the organ this afternoon.'
As someone who spent a few years in another area of church restoration work, organ restoration isn't something that will be undertaken 'in an afternoon'.
At a minimum it will be many days, probably weeks, depending on the scale of the job.
Amazing last night that Sarah and Damon sleep together because he is going away to prison for 15 yrs so it will be a one off sympathy shag. Suddenly in Weatherfield Damon's successful brief and his equally successful assistant discover a paragraph in a letter which will get the case tossed out of court. What a remarkable coincidence for a back street lawyer who just happens to be married to the new Gangsters Moll.
Who writes this crap?
damon was inside for a long stint but has money now to afford adam's firm, hotel stays etc., likely guilty but will get off despite drugs involved so could be monitored for good behaviour and his son on the run
Rufus - just what we need another comedy criminal. - Still I imagine he will be gone soon when he meets a blunt object.
Now that Sean brought Stephens tie pin to our attention will he now spot that he has lost it?
Will it be found before Stephen goes back to recover it?
I suppose we are going to have to put up with the suspicion being on Paul.
