I have no idea about the scam. Taking a guess ... could it be to create an issue out of Doug giving Terry money which will cause friction with Diane? Doug and Diane drift apart and he ends up seeking comfort from Brenda. :thumbsdow
Another guess, was the con man bought in to create a conflict situation with Lachlan who will then kill him.

Poor Gerry didn’t get the send off he deserved.
No explanation at all as to why Robert wasn’t at the funeral of someone who lived in his home.
Lachlan is a vile thug - that is all he is and needs to go as soon as possible this has gone on long enough and considering the difference in size Terry would have been able to take him no bother at all.
So Terry had no connection at all and was just out for what he could get after surfing the net. What really was the point of all that?
Vanessa is starting to annoy me just by appearing in a room same as someone else.
The only people who showed any genuine feelings of upset towards Gerry were Aaron & Liv unfortunately they weren’t on enough to let this really show more. Aaron looking good in his suit.
Sorry, other people may have seen this episode differently altogether.
Considering Gerry lived in their house you would think they could at least have made a short reference as to why he didn’t attend his funeral. Even if they’d just said Seb was poorly and he’d had to stay and look after him.Quote:

It does seem very much like that’s all we are going to get. I still actually can’t see the point of that whole thing. I don’t want people to think I’m uncaring - I would hate to see anything happen to a young girl like Amelia but I do feel that everyone wearing those tshirts is a bit OTT.
So a young man who killed an innocent person with a heavy boulder just stands there and says nothing while a older man gets arrested by the police for bending a windscreen wiper. This story just gets worse.:wall:
