It wouldn't annoy me so much if I knew that my friend didn't have a lot of money, but I know she has loads. I'd have much preferred a framed collage like one of my friends got from her friend who left the school; it seemed like a lot of time, effort and thought had gone into that, and only the frame would have actually cost money.
We don't agree budgets, but this is the first time that the money spent has not been about the same in terms of what we've given out and what we've got from that person.

In a bit of a dilemma. Told my friend yesterday I'd go to a party tonight, but thing is.. 2 of my friends have dropped out so there's 3 of us left, but I have no money. I need to get Christmas over and done with but I don't want to let her down either because I wouldn't like it if someone did that to me
We do a secret santa at work. Pull a name out of the hat and get a present for that one person - everyone gets one present and there is a budget of £5.
I do this with a group of friends from school too - we all have families and it can get too expensive to buy presents for everyone. this way it is a group thing and not too expensive either.
yeahh we did Secret Santa with friends and the budget is £10 whihc is ok. My family is really big though.. and we buy for everyone, so I'm finidng it difficult to stretch my money. I'll just have to figure out my money, write everything down and keep track.
The teacher hadn't marked the tests we did in Economics so she will email us what we got over the holiday. I'm not going to want to look at my emails now :lol: Bet the person who moderates all school emails will love looking at what people got lol.
Last day today, as tomorrow is optional for 6th form :D Went to the chinese at lunch with friends and he was giving out pens. Makes a change from Christmas Calendars we get from the one in town. The man was asking me how to spell friend as English isn't his first language and he wanted to have a specially printed mug made for his friend for christmas... aww. :wub:
have been told to rest and take it easy but im bored of that now, so went to mums so she could feed me :lol: andthen dragged her to shops for more xmas shopping!!

I gave mango stuff to some of my friends! Other friend had olive for her birthday and I got coconut for myself. Everyone at school must thing I have an unhealthy obsession with that place because I've been taking my textbooks to in in bags from there for weeks! :lol:
Had a really good night out catching up with friends last night. Met a guy called Lee who lives in the next town to me. We got on really well, he was sober and I was slightly tipsy. I almost got his number but things kicked off between my friend and her dad and I was left to sort it :rolleyes: The night ended kinda badly, with me having to do some first aid on my friend and getting blood on my jeans. Some guy sat with me when I was doing it and gave me tinsel and baubles from the beams in the pub. Had to sneak out the back to make sure I wasn't caught :p
I wish that just for once, somebody else would take responsibility when we're out if things go wrong. They could see that I was talking to this guy outside the pub but they still insisted on shouting to me that they were going to the pub a few doors down, ruining the moment.
On the downside, he did look like my old english teacher, who I hated.
I really hope I see Lee again :( Even if he has got a girlfriend. He wouldn't have spent all that time talking to a drunk lass if he wasn't interested. He tried to teach me to play pool but I just embarressed myself.
Anyway, enough waffle about my night out. Need to text my friend now and see if she's ok.
Staying in bed today, don't have the energy to do anything.
I'm ahving a pretty good day :).. apart from a headache lol
We did our Sixth Form Christmas concert today and squirty creamed 2 of the teachers :D Haha! We did our own version of the nativity aswell and I was the North Star lol and then we did the dance to Jump on it which was really really fun :D
Then I came home and had a driving lesson, my instructor misbooked me so I onyl had an hour rather than 2, but was told that on my next lesson we will decide a dtae for my driving test! Scary stuff! Haha
I have to go to town now and buy my Dad a birthday present as it's his birthday and then I plan on spending the evening over my Mums :)
Finished school at half 12 today :D so glad its the holidays now.
babysitting tonight and im staying over there too so im gonna get into my jarmies and watch romeo + juliet at 9 + might have a realllllly long phone call with sara seeing as i havent spoken to her since tuesday!
picking up my laptop tomorrow - is going to kill me knowing its upstairs and i cant have it till thursday!!

Gave me tenner last week for going to pub with mates.
Gave me 20 tonight, and just gave me another 10 and was like, thats for the rest of your xmas pressies, and some beer money too :eek:. And he said he's gonna give me more for New Year too :eek:.

Day's been ok - been watching DVDs most of the day and I've had a nice spring clean on MSN - got rid of most of my contacts that I don't speak too and set up a new account.. I had my other one for 7 years!
.. Parents arguing last night just because my mum went out for a night out with some friends.. sounds like they've sorted things out now though.
Not complaining. Just wondering what he's up to :lol:.
Ive had a really good day I went and saw Twilight :heart: and work was good too :D
Went out yesterday with the gang from work started drinking at 2pm got home at 1.30 this morning. Guys are such lightweights they all disapeared over the course of the night leaving me and Margaret on of the technicians to our own devices.
Caught up with getting the place in Spain cleaned and decorated, looks nice now. Just having a break from sun bathing, it is really warm in the sun shine, high 20s. Gets cold at night though.
Finally finished the xmas shopping this morning, Manchester was heaving! It was crazy. Quite excited now!
Just watched telly mainly and i went for a walk with my mam this morning.
I havent done anything today :(
Im sooo lazy. Im gonna try and get out into town tomorrow, I need to get the rest of my mums xmas present anyway

Hmm, had an alright night. Went bowling and had a boogie on the dance mat, then went looking about at Christmas lights :) but there's a bit of commotion between 2 of my friends and it's rubbing off aon us all and there's loads of tension, so not that great if I'm honest. Oh well.
i am doing revision followed by revision followed by yes thats correct more revision and i am bored out of my brains doing so!

I just got a call from one of the parents of the younger ones at dancing, but shes more like a friend to us older ones and she is the woman who got me in touch with all these people who I babysit :p anyway she works at next and shes asked me to work there at Next on the 27th 3-9! :p Im sooo lucky another job :D well this one is just the once, but maybe they might keep me on, I know they take on a lot of xmas staff but you never know, and if they dont keep me never mind at least I'll get some money for 6 hours work :D

Been at my sister's since Saturday, got back about half an hour ago. Going to have a snooze, unpack my bag and watch some tv.
My friend who I bought the present for (the one I was talking about on shoutbox on Friday night) text me on Saturday to tell me not to bother buying her anything as "we're students now and it's one less thing to think about." I hade left her a message on facebook asking what time would be best to take her card and present round (when I had got round to buying it).
Thinking about it, we've hardly spoken since August and we haven't seen each other for months. I'm back in touch with some old friends now, which I'm happy about. Don't get me wrong, I really like Rachel and she's a good friend but I feel more comfortable with my old friends, the people who I've grown up with and known for years. Even if they do ruin my chances with a great guy :p

Me and my friend went to get the Secret Santa presents as we were all going to meet up tonight, but oh no.. 2 of our friends are being awkward and want to do it on the weekend instead because they haven't even finished their Secret Santa. They bug me sooo much, on the note that they sat online talking about it to each other and complaining when they could've got off their bums and into town to sort it out, but they've made everythign complicated again... as usual. I'm really annoyed and I really don't want Christmas to come.. I wish it would just go away. :(
So now I'm not sure what this evenings plans consist of.. brillianttt.
