period pains

Is that because they make you feel ill if you don't take them with food or because of the instructions on the packet?

It's generally fine to take paracetamol and ibuprofen on an empty stomach. If you take them with food, it will take longer to get into your system.

I'm lucky that I don't get bad periods. I just get heavy legs and am occasionally moody.

I am generally sick after taking them, that's the problem, but it might be cause my period pains are that bad is well.
