the thing is it might be years ago but people from our army etc are still dying today in places like iraq and its for remembering everyone. i just cant believe though that at my school it wasnt just the children who were disrespectful, it was the teachers as well, and that says something when adults cant even be bothered to give 2mins up of their breaktime, no wonder many children dont see the need to do it

for as long as i can remember my mum has made me sit on a sunday morning and watch the remembrance thing on the tv, i know when i was younger and didnt understand i got annoyed cos i wanted to carry on playing, but now i dont mind, whats a bit of time out of my day, i can still go and do the things i wanted to do afterwards, unlike the people who gave up years of their lives to fight then got killed so couldnt carry on living their lives how they wanted. people know only care about themselves and if its not convenient for them then they wont do it :angry:
