What happened to waiting for at least a decent time after leaving your wife (of 20 mins) to locking lips with the other woman. Talk about rubbing salt into the wound. :nono:
Am I the only one that finds the Rodney & Misty scenes uncomfortable to watch?
I really think some people really have no respect for other people's privacy and put up pics that it very clear that they have tried hard to avoid
HI Everybody of topic watching aghga Chrietes Poirot atm thinks its the last one what David Suchet did you i do like Chrities slyhes Miss Marple and the like well it must be my old age LOL
What is the point of all this Misty/Rodney nonsense? Is it meant to be funny? :(
Robron next Friday.
According to Eastieoaks' Darren, we are going to get a really cute Aaron and Robert scene next Friday. It's short but very sweet. About time too.
Good morning to everyone.
A pleasant, sunny morning, though on the cool side. I hope everyone is having a good weekend. :)
hello robroners :cheer: hope everyone having nice weekend
looking forward to cute scenes Friday  cos however short we haven't had anything like that for a while :(
I believe its the british oscars there tonite but presumably the public don't get to vote but its it public and I was looking around to see if anyone knows who is even in the running?
do the cast go to it at all?
Hi Micheal 👋 having a relaxing weekend thanks. Hope you are having a good one too.😀
I may be wrong but I think there’s only actually the programme that gets nominated, none of the actors and I think Eddys right that there’s no public vote. :hmm:
Maybe some of the cast go but not sure.
Yes, it's just the programme that is nominated for a soapy drama category (not sure what BAFTA officially call it). There is nothing to stop an actor, actress or member of the production team to go and win in another category. However, they will be up against anyone from anywhere else involved on British TV and nominated for a particular category.
Danny Miller is at the BAFTA awards. He just posted this message on his twitter:
'Walked the red carpet, had press pictures, went to the toilet, went to open zipper... already open!'
:rotfl:
Take a look at Emmerdale's Instagram for a few pics of Danny, and 4 other cast members, arriving at the BAFTA ceremony.
Look right here.
Not a big surprise that Casualty (only BBC programme] were the winners. Congratulations to them - they’ve often missed out on awards in the past. 👍
Jeff Hordley and Zoe Henry tease the death of a much loved character
Article here, Metro, 14/05/18.
I do feel that Gerry has hardly been there long enough to be called a much loved character, even though he has settled well into the cast in the time he’s been there, so that makes me think that it is more likely to be someone like Doug that doesn’t survive. Of course I’m probably wrong.:hmm:
Of course that same old thing I wish was true was that a certain other person was the victim but they are hardly a much loved character so I’m not holding out much hope for that.:wall:
Not long to wait anyway to find out who it is.
Hi Fellow Robroners we all know our Aaron`s fine and it looks like we going to have some lovely romantic scenes on Friday yeah im of for a week and i wont watch ED live so im having a break and watch when i get back but Don you can FB me something if its going be good yeah Matty take care speak when i get back
It's rumoured that a major character is about to return to Emmerdale, connected to Cain. I have no idea who it might be.
Spoiler.
May 24th - Ross has a gun and he is after Joe Tate. :thumbsdow
Surely not this old story again. Looks like IM has run out of story ideas and is just repeating everything.
Apparently Ross forces Joe to play a game of Russian Roulette. :rotfl:
So Robert turning a gun on him after he tried to shoot him didn’t teach him a lesson then?:nono:
The sooner IM goes the better and we might get something original. :wall:
I feel sorry for Corrie - hope the cast are ready for being on a rinse and repeat cycle starting in the next few months.
The acid attack was described as an important story of today, one that just has to be told. And it's led to this russian roulette sillyness, as well as with Simon walking away with a £100,000 jackpot, making a complete mockery of a very serious issue.
evening everyone :cheer:
hope you all well
I think its mainly daz kerry dan stuff tonite and tomorrow so that will be fun :(
