Im really enjoying EE at the min, apart from the Sean bits..the sooner he goes the better in my humble opinion!!! :p
Sean's being more horrible than usual I agree but I still think he's a good charecter (not a good person) and I'm sorry he's leaving. It's stupid to be getting rid of so many people - Honey, Sean, Steven. I'm not bothered about Honey leaving but the other two are good charecters and could be given off screen time if there are no storylines for them. I wonder if Christian knew what was going to happen and what he meant when he said "You know why" - what was he talking about?
Agreed. What I like most about the character of Sean is the relationship with Jean. One of the most interesting relationships in the square for me. Sean isn't a nice person but then there are people like that in real life. I will miss him and I feel he will leave a hole in the Slaters, even though he doesn't have much screen time with them now, there is always interesting scenes when he does see Jean.
I do feel sorry for Gus though. He is a nice guy and doesn't deserve it but then someone like Sean would never pick on the likes of Phil or Jase so they had to choose someone like Gus, for the storyline to work.
Steven and Christina well played. This story line is going somewhere. Pleased that EE has stepped up to issues like this one. I hope Christian will keep distance though.
Cannot bare to watch Gus and Sean, I really hate bullying.:(
Honey's leaving ?Quote:

I agree about Steven and Christiasn - brilliantly acted and I loved the kiss scene. I watched it about 3 times on You Tube. Christian should keep distance really because he's older and should be more responsible and not take advantage. If Steven is comfortable being bi and wants to have a try with Chruistian then great but if not then Christian shouldn't take advantage. I think Sean's an interesting charecter and that the BBC are stupid to axe him but his bullying of Gus is horrible.
I think there is lots going on atthe minute which is good. Although Lucy seems to have been swept under the table there has hardly been any mention of her recently.
It looked pretty much a one-sided kiss from my point of view? Looked at though Christian looked awkward and wanted to pull away?
I had to watch the omnibus edition today to catch up and got so frustrated with the scriptwriting. First, Steven does not go to his room to read a book on first sexual encounters but in the living room where, of course, he gets caught out. Then he does not put his hands down as soon as he hears somebody coming into the house and is still nearly groping the mannequin when Christian and Ian walk in. !! Everytime Bradley and Stacey are in a shot, Stacey and Steven can get it on to make Bradley jealous and Clare is there to tuck Bradley's shirt into his trousers , Wellard sat unchained in an open room next to where his master was arguing with Sean about having killed him and came running in when Sean called him (sic), Roxy observes Dawn dancing around in the new dress Mickey bought her from the upstairs window and then Sean mumbles something into the main judge's ear to declare Roxy winner of the barmaid contest whilst the whole club obviously did not watch Dawn being better and quicker than Roxy and the other judges not questioning anything??? I could go on and on. I shall give the omnibus edition a miss for a while and stick to watching the daily episodes, that way I don't get an overload of nonsense.
Spot on, Perdita.
I'm surprise Peggy/Phil have any spirits left to sell in the Vic with the amount the staff drinks without paying while working.
Roxy has become annoying now i really can't stand her
WTF why did Phil tell Peggy about Shirley's cancer scare?????
As usual Heather was brillant. I love her friendship with Shirley. They don't need to bring back Hazel at all.
I never liked Hazel much.
i really liked Hazel with Minty, but i feel for Heather so much. what a conumdrum!
Hazel is really annoying :p I wish they'd never brought her back. Then Heather and Minty could be happy :p
I feel sorry for Roxy, she really likes Sean but he was just using her. At least she's realised it now. Although getting drunk is not the best way to deal with the rejection.....
Everyone in the square thinks alcohol is the answer. Roxy's no different.
I think Roxy was using Sean as much as he was using her.
They really need an AA meeting for the squares residents
Worst.Episode.Ever.
IMO that episode was a complete mess. I feel sorry for Gus but Sean is now telling him where he can go in Walford and he whines but more or less accepts it, the wedding storyline is the pits and as for Stacey and Steven. Nervous virgin to confident, superstud in a few days:thumbsdow
"Looking stunning as ever Shirley"
"Go die Sean" :D
Shirley saves the episode
I actually liked today's episode. The Stacey/Steven scenes were good. Can't stand Hazel - the woman is selfish through and through. First she breaks Minty's heart. Then she reads in a magazine that he is going to marry someone else and comes to get her man back - waltzing back in without a care in the world as though nothing happened. I am glad Minty saw sense and chose Heather. He masay not love her as such but he likes her and that can develop into love over time. Heather thinks about what Minty wants. Hazel doesn't. I'm glad Phil made Shirley go to the hospital to get her results - about time. I also liked her chat with Peggy.
and once again we get a personality transplant in Eastenders, what happened to Hazel? she wasn't like that when she left. and a lot of things were forgotten, like how she left over the baby issue- why wasn't it even mentioned?!
I hate Hazel now. She is selfish through and through. EastEnders does a lot of personality transplants - Minty and Billy were unpleasant long ago and now both are gentle and kind. There is a lot of inconsistency. It all comes down to bad scriptwriting. That is why lots of actors want to leave EastEnders I reckon.
I really liked last night.. my heart went out to poor Heather and I was so happy when Minty picked her in the end.. nice to see the "not so pretty" girl win in the end...
Sean with Gus.. WTF.. he can't tell him where he can and can't go.. Gus, pack up yourself and your dog and get out of there now or bring in your Aunt to kick Sean's ass.. nasty man
Tanya and Jack... mmmmmm something is going to happen there me thinks.. Stacey and Steven.. ok whatever!! why to hide your sexuality Steven by trying to be the stud of watford... You went for Christian, he didn't seduce you.. YOU ARE GAY!! deal with it
I agree about Minty and Heather. He made the right choice. They are fantastic together. Hazel's a self centred, selfish and arrogant woman. I agree Sean can't tell Gus where he can and can' go. He has no right. I hope someone stands up to him soon. Gus should call the police. Sean may be interesting charecter wise but personality wise he's a nutcase. I know he genuinely loved Tanya but his bullying of Gus is just sick. I don't want Tanya/Jack together. I like Jack ith Ronnie and Max with Tanya but Jack/Tanya have a lovely brother/sister relationship.
Though I like Steven/Stacey more as friends and I am hoping she can be with Bradley again I don't hate Steven. I'm sometimes annoyed if he does things he shouldn't but he has a lot of problems. He'll alwys be a bit unstable but I suppose because of the way he is it is understandable that he's in denial that he is gay or bi or whatever. I still have sympathy for him though I can't condone it if he does wrong.
Shirley and Heather were great last night.
I'm glad Minty made the right decision. :cheer:
Roxy/Sean/Gus storyline very boring as is the Steven/Stacey storyline
I must admit i can see chemistry between Tanya/Jack
Ronnie and Jack are better as a couple I agree.
I'm so glad Minty choose Heather :cheer:
Heather is one the best characters in EE at present. :cheer:
Tanya/Jack/Ronnie - I don't really want to see this love triangle
Surely Minty's and Heather's wedding is not legal seeing Heather called herself Hazel Hobbs and how come the Registrar just smiled and said "Well, seeing we are here" and carried on despite knowing the truth? And that woman from the magazine had no problem with it! I am really despairing at the storylines in EE at the moment. :wall:
Heather looked gorgeous though in her wedding outfit and I hope that the scriptwriters let them have a happy relationship, whether legally married or not.
I'm so glad Minty and Heather finally married. They are so right together. Ok maybe Minty doesn't love her but he does like her and liking can develop into love. Queenie is so horrible. I hope she is axed soon. I don't believe Steven was thinking of Christian when Stacey kissed him even if he is bi. It's just Christian winding him up. I know Christian doesn't know Steven has/had mental problems but people like Steven still have to be handled with kid gloves. I would be careful round him. Gus is right - Sean is dangerous. I was sorry for Sean when Tanya dumped him and when he confided to Tanya that he manslaughtered his dad but his bullying of Gus is really bad. He's more crazy than Steven these days. So, Roxy's been on drugs before - maybe that was Ronnie's secret so it's implied - sounds a bit like Tanya and Raine. Jack should have told Ronnie he fired Sean for drug dealing.
Gus is an idiot. I feel for the bloke alot but what did he achieve by doing that? If he wants Sean sorted out he needs to go and talk to Stacey or Mo.
Still don't like the wedding lark. Queenie is vile (can iamgine her and Sean locked in a room together. Who would win?:ninja: ) Phil and Shirley are a great match.
Am tired of seeing Stacey playing games. She changed her mind cos she saw Bradley.
Every once in a while we get the cocaine story in Eastenders, weren't Juley and Tariq doing it a while back, before that it was Janine.....
